Waterway Plastics806105101785 2" Top Load/Top Mount/Dyna-Flo/Filter Bypass Valve

Realized one of the bypass valves for the filter was broken (bad spring). You're supposed to be able to turn the assembly counterclockwise about 30 degrees but mine wouldnt budge even with a hammer so i used the large screwdriver to pry it out, breaking the small retention tabs. If you do the same, be careful not to lose bits of plastic in the hoses where they might get in a pump. My original was soft enough not to shatter. The new part had some trouble fitting into the gap on my filter body so I filed down the hinge a little and removed the injection mold marks and was able to force it into the space. With my hand, I got the new part into the correct location and I used the long oring puller and screwdriver in my picture to twist the new part into place. Locked in and appears functional. Needed this for my hot tub.

Just want to start out by saying that anyone that bought a Leisure Bay after they went under in the US, all parts are waterway parts. Thank god... this part fit perfectly into the bypass value whole. It was an exact replacement for the original. Spa now filters perfectly. Amazon had this for a couple dollars less and free shipping, plus that amazon guarantee.

Due to a leak at the heater pipe coupling I inspected the hot tub for any broken parts, this part was broken, replaced with this new bypass valve now the tub works as is should - no leaks

This part saved me a lot of money and has extended the life of my spa. It was very difficult to remove the old valve, but this new one went in easily.Part didn't last a year and the spring is broken again.

Used to replace flapper in J210 hottub. Would not quite fit into the narrow slot so I had to trim off some of the plastic with a knife. See photo:
