After sleeping on a firm spring mattress for most of my life (not comfortable), I decided it was time for a new mattress because I was not getting great sleep - mainly because of how hard the mattress felt. I hesitated about memory foam, but I gave it a shot anyway. After a few weeks, I have been getting significantly better sleep. I wake up feeling well-rested and less achy. It's taken some getting used to the memory foam and not having any bounciness as a spring mattress, but I have no complaints about that.Unpacking the mattress was pretty simple. It came vacuum compressed and rolled up in a box about 17 x 17 x 42 inches. It fully expanded after a day, but it was off-gassing pretty badly for a few days, requiring me to leave the window open for a few days.My only complaint is the off-gassing, which faded slowly over a month and a half. I think it's because I didn't give the mattress enough time to fully air out and I live in a colder environment. I was finally able to let it air out all the way. I think the off-gassing taking so long was just an error on my end, not giving it more time to air out in the beginning.Original September/2024: My only complaint is the off-gassing, which has been slowly fading away, but is still quite strong after a month. I guess it's because I haven't given the mattress enough time to fully air out and I live in a colder environment. I purchased a space heater to keep my room a bit warmer and will keep the window and door open for ventilation and hope it helps. I will update my review once I can make the odor go away.UPDATE 10/3/24: After running a heater for a few days, washing the sheets, and leaving the sheets off the mattress for a few days, the off-gassing has faded significantly.UPDATE 10/22/24: I gave it another round to air out recently. I took the sheets off and washed them, opened my window and door, and gave it two days to air out. I can confidently say the off-gassing has finally stopped! The bottom of the mattress was still off-gassing a little too so I leaned it against the wall for a day.

Highly satisfied with this mattress! Did not smell upon opening. Very comfortable yet firm. Great quality for the price. Would definitely purchase again!

I purchased this last year. I am 125Lbs. The mattress is still firm. I have found it very comfortable until recently. I am not sure why, suddenly I feel it is too firm. Chiropractors have told me too soft is not good for the spine and hips while sleeping. So I just purchased a 3" foam topper from Lucid to add a little cozy comfort. Thank you Lucid for producing a Great product!

I love that it was easy to open and light enough to place on my metal frame to allow it to expand. (did it by my old 👵self). Packaging was coming apart at closure points top and bottom. (Not enough strapping tape).Glad it didn't fall out of box. Happy mattress was fully encased in plastic sheeting and secure. I haven’t noticed a smell and it expanded to 8 inches almost immediately. It has been 48hours and it is just now at 8.5 inches. I did sleep on it and it was fairly comfortable and a medium firm is about accurate. Not too plush. I was relatively cool which was nice. I just wanted it to expand to the 10 inches that I expected. I placed an allergen protective cover on it which can easily hold a ten to twelve inch mattress. Cover clearly still has plenty of room for expansion. Price was good, shipping was ok (need to better secure ends of box). Delivery time was reasonable. I am mostly content with my purchase. Hope it finishes expanding to the full 10 inches.

I bought this for my toddlers “big girl” bed and it has been great! I’ve fallen asleep on it many times because it is so comfortable. I like that it’s firm but not hard.

I’m pretty impressed by this bed. I had been searching for a plush mattress for a while (not easy to do!) and had even purchased a hybrid mattress that I ended up returning because it wasn’t soft enough for me. I like to sink in and feel surrounded by the mattress, which helps take pressure off of my joints when I’m side-sleeping. This mattress is really interesting because it almost feels firm for a few seconds when you first lie down but you quickly feel yourself melt into the bed, which is really nice because it feels supportive in spite of being soft. It’s not super squishy, which is what I thought I needed, but it still manages to be soft enough for me.The quality feels good. The edge support is decent and there’s no motion transfer. As far as I can see this mattress isn’t made with fibreglass which was also a concern for me. Overall I’m pretty happy with my purchase and I recommend the plush configuration to anyone looking for a soft, supportive mattress.

Mattresses are so subjective, so reviews are a bit pointless when it comes to comfort. But I'll just document my experience going from an old ikea coil spring mattress to one of these modern ones.It came rolled up and folded in half in a cardboard box which kind of concerned me as being folded in half seemed like it could affect optimal inflation due to the stark bend down the middle. This turned out to not be an issue at all and it fully inflated with no issues. I let it inflate for about fourteen hours and it seemed ready to sleep on by then.The first night was a bit odd as I'm used to a more bouncy kind of mattress which changes the feel when you walk on it on your knees, roll and reposition, sit on the edge with your feet on the floor, etc. It felt like I was laying on a bed of playdough. It just felt odd at first. I woke up well rested but didn't really feel like it was that comfortable, but I realized after a few nights that I just wasn't used to it. The benefit of this kind of bed is the memory foam gives your body support everywhere so you're not using muscles to stay in any position as the mattress fills in all the space around you and holds you in place. It's subtle though so you don't realize it at first. This helps you sleep better because your body will be totally relaxed when you lay on it. After about four nights I really started to notice less stiffness and soreness in my back and hips that I would have for the first hour or so after waking up from my old mattress. Also, unlike my old mattress, there's no "sweet spot" on the bed that I need to be in. Anywhere I lay on this mattress is supported and comfortable.Overall I am very impressed by this mattress and I look forward to getting nice comfortable sleep for the next several years. Highly recommended.

Busque un colchón de este tipo por meses... los únicos que alcanzan esta calidad son las versiones más premium de Emma o Luna ... pero estos últimos alcanzan precios desorbitados de 25mil o 30mil pesos mexicanos... Lucid es firme pero la sensación al acostarse es insuperable, toma la forma de tu cuerpo y te acostumbras rápidamente, yo lo deje dos días completos para que tomara su forma y alcanzo unos 23 cm sin problema... El paquete es compacto pero pesado, procuren que lo reciba alguien fuerte.

Vámonos por partes: a mí me gusta el colchón más firme que suave y este es muy firme pero cuando ya estás acostado parece que flotas. Y sí, en las tiendas te acuestas y los suaves los primeros segundos dices "ah que rico", los siguientes minutos "que a gusto" pero las horas después amances con dolor! Este colchón está hecho para dormir 12 horas o más! Es fresco, no es ruidoso, no te molesta tu pareja si se mueve, es firme pero suave, es el mejor LUCID que he comprado de los 3 por el grosor. Y LUNNA está padre pero este hace que amanezca feliz, en serio uno descansa.
