Justin MarriottThe Paperback Fanatic issue 43

A lushly-illustrated, must-have issue about top vintage paperback writers and artists
I’m a big admirer of all of the fanzines published by vintage paperback and pop culture maven Justin Marriott. He’s been publishing his flagship zine, THE PAPERBACK FANATIC, since 2007 and the issues just keep getting better. Issue #43 primarily focuses on paperbacks published by Gold Medal Books, the first publisher to start putting out paperback originals, instead of just publishing softcover editions of hardcover books. It’s full of insightful reviews of Gold Medal novels, fascinating facts about the writers and cover artists, and high quality, full-color cover scans. If you have an existing interest in vintage paperbacks or want to start learning about them, this well-researched, lushly illustrated issue of PAPERBACK FANATIC is must-have.

I'm a Fanatic for Paperback Fanatic
The latest issue of PAPERBACK FANATIC (#43) may be their best issue yet...in terms of both content and design. It's gorgeous, full of great paperback covers and packed with informative reviews by people who really know the genre. This magazine is as collectible as the books it discusses. Highly recommended!
