I believe some of the neg reviewers didn't understand what this was when they ordered it. It is not an air freshener or a substitute for candles, wax melts and/or any other fragrance product. What this product does is help to absorb what causes odor in the area you are having problems in and not just mask it with some fancy smell.I have a very large home with 2 small dogs and 2 cats so keeping the house cleaned fulled time and order free is a chore but these have made parts of it much easier. I use one by the cat box in the closet under the stairs and I place 1 in rooms that are not often used or entered like guest bedrooms or extra bathroom etc. I tuck them away in large closets in the house and both laundry rooms. They are amazing at removing odors from the air and keeping rooms from smelling stale.I had a Lazy Boy sofa that seemed to have some pet odor I noticed this after shampooing the carpets in a room which left it smell amazing and then after moving the sofa in there a day later it smelled of pets from the sofa. I opened one and set it near the sofa shut the door and a few days later smell is 100% gone.I don't like just masking smells as you spend all that money and it doesn't last and some of them are harmful to your pets and yourself. These items worked perfectly. While yes they only have a light smell to them that you would have to have your nose near it to smell, that is what I wanted. I didn't want something to fill the room with the smell of some cheap air freshener I wanted help controlling odors for good.However, after seeing someone state that you can get 2 for the price of one at another store I will likely buy them from their if they have the calming rain as I know it works.

I got this for a bedroom where my cat peed on the rug several times in the past. The "calming rain" fragrance in the Pet Odor Absorber version smells to me kind of like green apple! It's got a fairly strong scent even though I leave the window cracked. Whereas I hated the "fresh cotton" gel beads one I got before, this one I like and it doesn't give me headaches. As others have said, this product won't do much if there's an active litter box in the room or in the bathroom immediately after someone uses the toilet; but so far it seems good for masking smells like the old-peed carpet smell.I'll update in the future when I know if it really absorbs the odor from the carpet and makes it go away, or just masks it temporarily.

We have bought multiple of these. They make the room not smell. They have a very light fragrance, but they absorb the smells. Very small and compact. Last several months. Just pop it open and set on a counter.

Doesn't cover rabbit scent but I'm sure would work great for cat or dog

This “Odor Absorber” does nothing of the sort. After the feline utilizes their foundry of feces there’s no escaping the wafts of “wtf is this pet odor absorber for anyway!?”. Does not absorb odors, of any kind, let alone pet odor. After only a few days the inside material that does not absorb odors begins to shrink, crack and dry out, all without having absorbed anything nor let off any pleasant fragrance to even attempt to be labeled as an odor absorber. Waste of money and false advertising in my opinion. Will not buy another item from the company that makes the product nor be using the Amazon Store that sells these for anything else they may carry in stock.

I bought this product for a room that smelled like urine. My mother's roommate has urine accidents in her bedroom and this product does not work at all. Very dissatisfied with the product. Doesn't have a pleasant smell at all.
