Not useless, but not very useful, either
Velcro strips are too narrow. No instructions on which way to wrap this thing around your ankle. WAY undersized in diameter. I'm not even remotely a big dude, and this thing fits TIGHT on my ankle - like, darn near a soft tourniquet, makes my foot start to go numb after like 5 minutes. Definitely not big enough to fit over a normal patrol boot top - I mean, you can stretch the heck out of it and MAKE it fit, but then it's at risk of tearing or the Velcro just popping loose, and it's just crazy tight at that point - nor can I fit it higher up above my boot top near my calf because, again, it's not big enough around. If you have teeny-tiny ankles and you only wear sneakers or low-top boots or whatever, then it might work for ya'. But for me ... nope, not even close. Hesitant to throw it out, but not sure what I can do with the thing at this point.

Horrible
Wore it for about two hours before ripping it off. It's like wearing a compression sleeve on your ankle. Maybe you can deal with it, but I definitely couldn't wear it for ten/twelve hours. I'll carry my TQ somewhere else, this isn't worth the discomfort in my opinion.

Limited waist space.
Female patrol with limited real-estate on my duty belt so I got this. So far it has been comfortable. Had to work with it a bit to get the speed needed for this tool. Fits under my pants leg over my work boots and no one seems to notice.

Read This.
Much Smaller than I expected. Fabric separates from center elastic after a few weeks, so the velcro doesn't work. I sewed on my own velcro and it works now. Very Comfortable. Very Strong after custom upgrade. Holds a SOF tournacutt, needle decompression, 2 safety pins, naspehnol with gel, 2 extra large HALO chest seals, quickclot combat gauze. Reason it is not 5-star is because it was unusable without the upgrade with better velcro.

Gets the job done
There isn't anything fancy about this product - it just works. I carry a CAT on my ankle while on duty now all the time using this holster. It survives 12 hour shifts without any problem and is more comfortable than any of the gun ankle holsters I have used (no surprise there.)It is not fancy - but it does work well. I recommend giving this a try. Previously I carried my CAT under my shirt & on my vest. This is much easier and more comfortable.

Verdict still out
I purchased this for my husband for Christmas as a stocking stuffer so I haven’t given it to him. I inspected the holster when it arrived and seems to be well made. I’ll update the review once Christmas is over and he has a chance to use it.

Velcro is up to standards!
I've had this holster for about three (3) weeks and the Velcro seems to be lasting without coming lose. I am a small frames person so wearing a holster on my duty belt isn't an option with all the other duty gear mandated to wear. It does fit snug around my ankle and boot which makes it nice and not noticeable while standing with a buldge. All in all a good alternative for a smaller framed female who doesn't have the real estate to wear on my duty belt. If I had a complaint it would be to make it a bit longer with the Velcro all around as I have to fit it around atop of my boot surrounding my ankle.Good product!

Simple design, works so far
So far i've been in some fights(police officer) at work with this on and haven't lost my tourniquet. So I'd say it works, its a simple design. Elastic soft material and velcroe with a place to put the tourniquet. The area the tourniquet is stored isn't a pocket or pouch, it sticks out of the top and bottom, contrary to what the picture shows. But I don't have any complaints.
