Bought this to contain shoes by our garage door In a tight spot that required this exact depth, which is hard to find. It’s perfect to hold several pairs, toe-down. I didn’t want a country basket look in our more transitional style home, and I was happy that this was a more neutral look than many baskets. I think that is due to its slightly lighter color than pictured and sturdy materials. I would buy this brand again - and look here first if trying to find an unusual size!
