Installing new pocket replacement windows. The company has preinstalled foam connected to the window on three sides. Bought this to custom fit and foam the bottom of the window.For a few dollars this made installation of the windows a breeze and the seal simple. Less messy.The spray foam tube doesn’t fit into all sides of the window so using caulk to finish off those spaces and happy that on the bottom there’s a wider thicker seal than even the preformed sides have. Those are half the size of this and the density of the sponge like material is less, as well.Whether for an AC or a window install this is a win on all counts.I’ve noticed the material has improved over the years. Compared to a few years ago this foam appears more long lasting. I’ve repurposed my first purchase over the years and it’s began to shed little specks. Appreciating the upgraded material use to produce this product⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/\ updateI’m using this for a vintage 1900’s house when a window is opened and I need to seal the space between windows up top for portable ac install. Works very well. Great price. Delivery was seamless and timely.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

Great for sealing around A/C window vent.
I recently bought a portable AC unit with a hose that vents out the window. There was still air flow through the cracks around it once the vent attachment was in the window so I bought these foam strips to seal it up, worked perfectly. The weight of the window compressed the foam and sealed it up completely, no need for any tape so it’s easy to pull out or replace. Haven’t had any water coming in the window either. Would 100% recommend!

Using as a pottery sponge
This product is as described, but I not using it for that. One of the potters I follow did a video on YouTube on how to make a sponge on a stick using a product similar to this and that’s what I’ll be doing as a homeowner I can say that the density and quality of this product seems like it would work well for what it’s meant to be used for with air conditioning. The packaging is good and the delivery was quick and on time reasonable price.

Works great for my alternative uses.
I've seen something very similar to this used to fill the gap between the drivers seat and center console in cars. This was a bargain compared to what is being charged for those, and did the job with perfect adequacy. I cut it with ordinary scissors, and there was more than enough to do the job for both front seats. I bought it from Amazon LLC as an add-on for only $3 and plan to get another for my other car. Sure this doesn't have the fancy cover as the expensive original, but I'm a pinch-penny driving a very old car - so it does just fine for me in this alternative use.
