It’s great they come in a three pack because they each hold about a pint (perhaps slightly more). The cup just slips on the base and if you are not extremely careful, every time you move it, leaking will be profound. I placed mine inside the hive on top of the lid in an empty super. That kept the ants at bay but the bees started building comb on the pretty quickly.

This product although looks to be great...be careful! We are using 6 feeders in 2 hives. The bees were not taking sugar as we expected. The sugar does not come out onto feeders and it slowed our hives down from the start. They also are not tight to base. When you pick up they can come apart risking losing your sugar water and drenching your hive (which can be dangerous in first spring feeds). Sorry...from one Newby beekeeper to others...dont get these. Need better design!

I really like the design but they are quite small. My bees like them however they werent designed to water an entire hive. I have a larger water now as well but the bees like these the best.

We have trouble with bees coming onto our porch and getting trapped and if I don't see them soon enough, they die. I have revived some with a spoon of sugar water and saw these. Hate to ever lose a bee. Hopefully these help out the hard little workers.

If you are using these to feed bees they will go through the volume these things hold very quickly. Also, it is easy for them to come apart when full...which creates a mess!
