Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel, Long-Lasting Protection, 1.5 Oz

I did not expect to like this stuff as much as I did. I purchased it for the rather funny reason of not liking how moisturizer made my legs feel touching each other in bed, like they would stick to each other and not feel smooth, but being pregnant in the winter made moisturizer not optional, so I thought "Well, I'll see if an anti-chaffing thing might help" even though chafing was not exactly the issue. Well, it did, and I liked how it made my skin feel so much that I tried it as a makeup primer (excellent) and as pregnancy progressed, well, it does work nicely for anti-chaffing too. It's not for this, but I even ended up using it over some road rash one of my kids had, because they needed a little skin protection (dimethicone) but did NOT want a band-aid (healed up great). Basically, you can use this stuff anywhere, and it will help skin feel finished and like it can glide vs stick. A little goes a very long way as well, so you do get good value for your money even though the tube is small, you do not need a lot. I use about 4 peas worth on my legs, and that does the trick. 1/2 a pea is enough to use as a primer. Some people have mentioned that the tube contents separate, and its occasionally more liquid. I have experienced this, but it does not change the effectiveness, and to prevent it just keep the tube stored upright in the box. Problem solved. It really is a very useful and versatile product, and I'm so glad I bought it that I'm coming back for a second tube, not wanting to run out!

I stumbled on this product looking for something else. What a blessing that was. This powder gel is AMAZING!!!! It’s like applying a protective layer that feels like air! Not greasy, incredibly effective & not too thick. If I could buy it in gallon jugs I would. I’m a fuller fluffy girl who lives in FL. The heat and humidity are brutal in the summer. This gel has relieved any discomfort, rashes and pain I was having under my breasts and in my groin area. I had been using prescription steroid creams and this blows them out of the water. I am fan for life for this gel!!!!

Great for preventing chafing under bras. Easy to apply and not greasy and very effective. Odor free!

I read somewhere on a subreddit or blog that people use this chafing gel as a makeup primer and had to try it. That was about three years ago. I haven't used another primer since then because this works better than just about any other real primer I've ever tried before, and for a fraction of the cost. First the elephant in the room: the idea that you're using a Monistat product on your face. I admit I don't love the thought of the TSA pulling my tube of chafing gel out of my carry-on for public inspection, or the possibility of it falling out of my gym bag while I'm digging around for a hair tie. But I love this stuff enough to endure any manner of mild embarrassment on its behalf, and there is an observable improvement in the look and feel of my skin when I use it under my makeup. The texture is like ointment-y gel coming out of the tube, but when you spread it on your face, it has this outstanding velvety feel that smooths out your skin while still feeling totally breathable and not like you have a thick layer of something on your face. It dries very quickly as well, so there's no waiting 15 minutes to apply your foundation. A little goes a long way with this, and a 1.5 oz. tube lasts probably three or four months for me.

Good quality product for what you pay. It feels sturdy, functions fine, and showed up on time. No complaints here—would buy again if I ever need another one.

I got this to give it a try before a trip to Key West.... let me tell you, it worked amazing. I was able to walk around in my shorts and bathing suit all day with no chafing on my inner thighs at all. It made my trip so much more comfortable. Will be purchasing again. Highly recommend. I did reapply after swimming or a couple hours of walking.

This product is a life saver. Ever since I started menopause in my early 40s, there is no describing the terrible red burning rash between the folds in my skin down below. Between my thighs and I'm sure you get the idea. The pain though is a Bright Weeping Burning pain that hurts like !!!!! It can bring you to tears, the pain can make it so you can't walk right. Well, I'm 57 years old now and it wasn't so long ago that a friend introduced me to this product. I explained my situation and perhaps she had the same issue, but she held onto her package for dear life, but did give me the left over, just a small amount, said that was all I needed. She told me to feel the cream and squirted a small amount on my fingers. It felt velvety, but so relieving to feel. The above product is what your looking at. Most importantly, it works !!! After a shower, I apply a small amount, to cover the area and do the same the next time I take a shower and it might be 2 days from the time I put it on. But she was right, using this consistently after a shower, and that rash would be gone for good and it was. This rash was not some bad disease, yeast or anything like that. It was simply sweaty down there. Lots of Hot Flashes and that area has hot flashes to you could say. Hot Flashes effect people differently and some people never get them, but others it is a nightmare. I could change twice a day, wipe each time between my thigh area and still the sweat would pour out from the area. I don't know if it was acidic or just salty or what, but sweat rubbing sweat, or a salty acidic area due to hot flashes is no fun. I kept thinking I can't be the only one. This is a Chafing Problem, just sweat rubbing sweat and my legs are not fat at all. So let it be known and I went into great length, skip the embarrassment, we need relief if we are suffering like I was. So I wanted other women and maybe some men get something similar to know this product used consistently after your shower, will bring you the relief you so desperately need and maybe you to have never found or known how to do something about it. I hope this helps you. It sure did me, no one likes Hot Flashes, but us women need to stick together. Another thing for the regular hot flashes is Black Cohosh. It is a herbal. That helps a lot too, but if your on specific prescription meds, talk to your Doctor about using Black Cohosh first. I had stumbled upon this when with my friends when I was complaining to them about Hot Flashes. Some don't have them at all, but if you do the sweaty heat especially during summer ! When I found out and started using it. I was shocked that my Hot Flashes were gone or near gone. So this works as well. No one wants to feel like they have the flu with a fever and nauseous. Especially for no reason. I hope this information will be useful to someone.

It deserves all the praise. I understand that it is a bit costly but trust me - this is a must for men during Hajj & Umrah.

I bought this mainly for preventing chafing in hot weather and it actually worked much better than I expected. The gel goes on smoothly and dries into more of a silky powder-like finish instead of feeling sticky or greasy. It helped reduce friction really well when wearing dresses, walking a lot, or exercising. A little product also goes a long way, so the tube lasts longer than it looks like it would. I liked that it didn’t have a strong smell and sat comfortably under clothing without feeling heavy. Overall, one of those products that sounds a bit random at first but ends up being genuinely useful to keep around, especially during summer.

Me encantó, la uso principalmente para ponerme en mis muslos antes de jugar basquetbol, por que a veces cuando el short se subía me lastimaba. Aguanta el sudor y el movimiento, no requiero de usar mucho para que cumpla su función a la perfección.
