30'' Electric Fireplace Insert, Retro Recessed Fireplace Heater with Fire Cracking Sound, Remote Control & Timer, 750/1500W, Black

The media could not be loaded. This electric fireplace was a perfect fit for the framing my broken electric fireplace left. This electric fireplace insert came right out of the box all set up. All I had to do was plug it in and slide the insert in. The issue I had was the power cord comes out from the right side of the unit and not from the back. My opening was so tight that I had to drill a hole for the power cord to go through on the right side of my framing to get this to fit. There was no other way to rotate it in. I would prefer they had put the cord in the back so it didn’t interfere with the sides. Also the sound of the fire sounds like static from a radio like others have mentioned. Maybe if I’m really tired it may sound better but for now I leave it off. The color of the lighting is very nice and I like having the multiple options. It seems to put out pretty good heat so when I have a chilly day in the future that will be nice. The logs don’t look that realistic but I still think overall the fireplace is not cheesy looking and adds a nice ambiance to my room.

This is a handsome electric fireplace insert that puts out heat within a minute. The flames, logs and background are beautiful and fit well with the grey stonework in my fireplace area. A contractor created the wood frame and added more holes on the metal flange to screw the unit into the wood frame. This prevents it from falling out if there are earthquakes. The contractor was also impressed and is getting one for his home. My only suggestion is to have a choice of volume control like medium or low rather than on/off.

The media could not be loaded. We received delivery of our new insert fairly quickly. It arrived very well packaged and it was easy to install. The unit offers various different modes when it comes to the height of the flame, the abundance of lighting and the color of the background. Also included was a remote control that pretty much controls every feature from a pretty good distance.The heating options are low & high, and on high it does provide an abundance amount of heat. It actually raised the temperature of our house by 2 degrees in a short period of time. It has a sleek and simple profile but packs a punch on selections. The only negative thing we can say about this unit is that the crackling fire sound just does not sound realistic at all.Overall we are extremely happy with this insert and are fully enjoying it on movie nightscozying up with a blanket.PROS:- Timer goes up to 8 hours- Heat Setting Low/High- Fan works well- Different lighting Scenarios- Different Flame SettingsCONS:- Crackling sound is not realistic

The media could not be loaded. For the price this thing is fire. Pumps out heat well, the lights and effects are really cool. The fire crackle noise leaves a little to be desired, but the dimensions are on point and the function and quality of the metal part and glass are excellent.

The media could not be loaded. I just received it and it did have a side bend but sure it can be bent back. The remote, I have to press the buttons like 3 times before it does anything so will contact seller and I am sure they will send a new remote. Other than that it is perfect and a perfect fit and heat is nice. I live in a rv and I could not find any fireplace mantle to fit. They were all to big for the corner. I bought a target $60 white bookcase 10 years ago and it's been my tv stand. I decided I was going to create my own fireplace mantel. Dismantled it sanded and primed all separate pieces and then painted then reassembled. I didn't like the solid color of paint....so contact paper it is, and it worked amazing. The top part is a adjustable shelf and I drilled my own holes so I could adjust it to the right height for the fireplace measurements. Now I am excited to get my new floors and paint my walls. Day 1 and super happy. Everything works perfect besides remote and it kicks out great heat. I'll update if something happens down the road.Update: I talked to the seller and they offered me a 15% refund for the dent and we felt the dent could be bent out. I did not want to return it so will bend out the dent. They gave me a tracking number for a replacement remote right away. Very easy to work with and 15% was their offer if I didn't want to return the fireplace. I accepted and was happy.

It’s great looking and the heat is good as well, the only issue seems to be the sound of the fire. It is a strange sound but to tell you the truth I really don’t care about. Overall I really enjoyed the look…

The unit itself looks nice and it works just fine. However it doesn't look as nice as the photos show or nearly as realistic. I like the levels of flame and heat just fine, but you only have the option for 1 level of sound. The sound doesn't sound like a fire at all and it's way too loud. I think I would like it a bit better if you could lower the sound, but I will just have to refrain from ever using it. If I hadn't waited so long to install it, I would have returned for another unit honestly.

needed help getting it out of carton , but was very easy to install. Looks so real and we just love.Being asthmatic I can't have a wood burning fire place but this is just as good andmy house doesn't smell of burnt wood

The fireplace is very easy to install.however keep in mind that an extra two inches is necessary for the width in the mantle.. one on each side to centre the fireplace since the electrical cord is on the right side.I replace my old wood one so I have extra space.The fireplace looks very natural . I really like it.
