I've tried 3 different brands, GVM being one of them and the other was a generic Amazon brand and the Neewer beats them all hands down. It has double the LED count for the same price. Brightness on these were far superior and RGB were easy to control either by using the dials on the back panel or via bluetooth on your phone. The build quality is good too. All metal housing with metal barn doors. Units does get hot after an hour of use but doesn't seem to affect the performance. The stands are sturdy enough but the adjustment knobs are plastic which makes me worry about durability. The included carry bag is good quality and has enough room to carry 3 lights, stands and power adapters.

These lights are really good. Coupled with the D-Fuse soft boxes, they are great for interviews, YouTube videos, etc. Very bright, even with the soft boxes. I was considering the 660, but decided to save a little money. I’m not regretting that decision. I was able to dial in the color temp and brightness precisely to match room lighting. App controls are okay. I like the hue feature to add color to shots when needed. Construction is solid. I feel these will hold up to daily use. Controls knobs don’t feel cheap. One stand had a broken stop on arrival. An annoying thing, that doesn’t impact function. Neewer customer service sent a replacement, no questions asked. Great customer service. I appreciate the inclusion of the carry bag. Everything fits tightly. Could use a little more room. The bag is the one item that feels a little lower quality. Would definitely purchase these again.

I got these lights set up today and started messing around with them immediately. First things first, the light output is fantastic for the panel size. I like the barn doors, though I'm not sure how useful they will be in shaping the light, but I'll play with them and report back.The reason I'm so quick to review is that the app for these lights is TERRIBLE or maybe the connectivity is awful, but it consistently drops the lights. Initial setup was quick to add them via bluetooth, but sitting 6 feet away from the lights they are constantly dropping connection. The entire reason I got these specific lights was for saving scene modes and changing color and output for specific scenarios without having to go to the light and adjust them. The app itself has a 1 star review, which is about accurate. I've tried setting them up both bluetooth and wifi with the same results: "Could not connect to the device". This happens over and over again consistently between all 3 of the lights.The controls on the back work just fine and the color choices are seemingly endless, though the temperature numbers displayed and the actual light temperatures are not spot on. That's not a huge deal for me since the lights are so cheap.Overall, since the app control was such a huge deciding factor I'd say these let me down and miss the mark.

these are perfect. So very easy to use. I would love it if it were to be able to dim further. But they are really amazing for the price point.I’m an executive producer of an entertainment company, and I would recommend these.

These lights are very good and perfect for my needs. I really like their versatility as far as adjustments are concerned. I get complete control over color temperature and intensity of each individual light. Easily controlled through the phone app. There are many other additional adjustment options that I don't use but they look really cool. I only use the lights in my studio, so they do not endure a lot of ware and tear with setups and take downs, the stands are plastic so I don't know about off location use, but the lights themselves are metal and have very good barn doors. I have no regrets purchasing this set of 3 lights, I would recommend them without hesitation.

The lights and stands are well-constructed for light duty. I like that color temp and brightness are simple controls. The lights are bright enough for close work, but not for whole room video lighting. Whacky color-changing presets might be attractive for folks who want them for party lighting. (Please avoid attending wild unmasked dancing parties during the pandemic!

Literally love these. My favorite part is the quality as well as the control I have using my cell. I received these and in 2days I was able to use them for creating content for my client and made the cost of these and more in one session. They’ve paid for themselves. I also love that the case is actually a quality Carrying case too.Batteries come separately but I’m gonna get them too so I dont have to be tethered to the power cord.

Was told it would be a pack of three ended up just getting two. Returned it after opening.

This is a nice rgb set of light that helps accentuate mood to different video scenarios. The colors are deep and rich at both ends of the color spectrum. You also have the option of daylight&tungsten. There are also different lighting scenario mode which I personally don’t see myself using but it’s a nice function to have. However these lights aren’t as bright as I expected and I notice a lot of intermittent flicker in rgb mode and it increases when I power the light using np batteries. Perhaps I should have gotten the 660 rgb version instead because this may not meet outdoor location shooting, maybe only in controlled lighting environments and night filming. I also like the compact bag and 3 sets of tripod that all fit in the bag which makes it easy for transport
