The only thing I dislike about this, is that it didn't exist sooner. 😂 Easily the best camping air mattress I've ever used. It felt like sleeping in my own bed, because of the foam, it's great. I slept well, all night, on the ground, in the woods. No tossing and turning, and I felt rested in the morning. It's not loud or makes weird noises when you move around on it, and it feels soft to the touch instead of plastic or something. It will basically self inflate, but the bag it's stored in can be used as a pump, which is neat, but I bought the tiny pump for it. Inflates in under 10 minutes I think. It's a bit bulky, not for backpacking but if your worried about your back and want to camp, use this mattress, my 75yo dad approves. 👍 It seems well built and can support my fat butt so I recon it will yours too, and be comfy. 🥰

Consider me the princess of the princess and the pea. I’ve tried everything. I had settled on bringing an air mattress when camping. But I was frustrated by 2 things: the cold and having to inflate it multiple times. Never mind how big it is and the fact that I needed a separate tool to inflate them. I have tried many sleep pads from Amazon and with each one, I woke up multiple times during the night with soreness. I didn’t inflate this all the way the first time, and I didn’t know what all the fuss was. I added more air and WOW! It not only helps to keep your body heat from being sucked out, but the comfort is unreal. I never felt the ground and my joints felt supported. It is easy to inflate, let it do it’s thing, then add manually to your firmness preference. It’s also super easy to deflate and it packs smallish. If you are having trouble getting comfortable camping, buy this. It’s a game changer for car camping.

Inflate very quickly and they designed the carry bag to be the pump sack which is a great idea, no need to carry extra item or a mini pump (my wife had an Exped), it also pump much easier than any mini pump since it hold a lot more air and you just push it down. Quick inflating tip, use your camping fan to blow air into your pump sack, much quicker, each pump will be a full bag of air :) Don't expect the bed will just self inflated completely, pump few more times to get to the firmness you want. Twin lock value make it super easy to let some air go if it is too firm and quick to deflate and pack up (compare to my wife's Duo... so difficult to pack it small) It hold its air for days no issue, I even left the inflate value open to test it, no leak for 3 days, so should be enough for most camping trip? It is comfortable sleeping on it, I'm 200 lbs, and can't feel the ground when roll it on my side

This is one of the most comfortable things I’ve slept on. Makes car camping/camping a breeze. I’ve used on hot nights and cool nights and if anything happens I’ll repurchase. Love my mondo king.

The Mondoking is hands down the most comfortable sleeping pad I have had the pleasure of using. I backpack and camp a lot where I live in Colorado. With the weight it is by no means a backpacking pad, however, it is amazing while car camping with my family. If you don't have to hike too far, a few miles even, this is amazing. Anything beyond that, I would recommend more of a backpacking inflatable pad. It is SUPER comfy and SUPER warm. The coldest I've slept on it so far is about 18°, zero cold spots whatsoever. I'll give an update after torture testing this when I winter camp later this year. Great buy!

Purchased in May 2021, so lasted 4.5 years of moderate use. While sleeping on it last week Dec 2025), I heard a pop, followed by more and more pops throughout the night. The seams that keep the mattress’s integrity while full started to release. This allowed for uneven air distribution, rendering the mattress unusable. I paid $299 in 2021. It was good while it lasted however. Photo attached (that’s not a built-in pillow). Use this information as you will.

Okay, pros: Literally self inflating. You can sleep on your side comfortably and not hit the ground. Actually comfortable. 😳☺️ Perfect size for family camping and car camping. Cons: Too large when compressed for backpacking. Needs to remain uncompressed for long term storage. All in all… buy this thing. Unless you’re a hardcore backpacker who wants to sleep on the hard ground, this is a real mattresses that you will literally love. Never slept so well in a tent before. THANK YOU! 🙏

I've got a Thermarest backpacking pad that's nearing 30 years old and still as good as new (given the fact that self-inflating still requires some manual work), so when it came time to look for a camp sleeping pad it was naturally the brand I went with. As a side sleeper I went with the XXL (odd sizing, since there is no L or XL!), which is wider. It also fits perfectly on my cot. Instructions are accurate - self-inflation is good to a point, then the sack comes in handy to complete the job. One quick note here - plugging sack into the "In" port may be challenging. As with most air mattresses, there is some settling, but I found that after one top up of air it remained the same level of comfort for several days - you don't have to re-adjust air and comfort level every night. It's not so bad, but if you're a squirmer there will be noise. Deflating - this isn't quite as friendly, and why "Easy to inflate" lost a star (a deflate rating would have had 1 star). It is indicated that the "In" and "Out" ports efficiently block air going in the other direction. I'm not sure this is true. In locking down the "In" port so that no air enters and opening the "Out" to roll up for storage, every time I took weight off the deflating pad it would fill again through the Out port. It is a big challenge to get this pad back to a size that will fit back in its storage bag and that's why I returned it - in a different box because I never did get it small enough to fit back into its original. I can take down and pack my tent more quickly than I can pack this bag away. Sorry Therm-a-Rest, almost perfect.

5歳女の子の初キャンプでしたので、最初が肝心と思い「熟睡できるキャンプ」にこだわりました。こどもがコットから落ちることを心配して、所有していたコットから、こちらのマットに更新。四方300㎝のテント内にラージ63センチ4枚並べて川の字。子供も就寝時楽しそうでマットにして正解でした。就寝時気温15℃くらい。付属の収納袋を接続して手作業でエアを注入。逆止弁があるため空気の戻りはなし。一枚あたり2分くらいで完成。重労働ではないが、複数枚の場合たいへん。サイドが直角のため、隙間なく並べるとありますが、「硬めに」とエア多めに入れるとカベの形状が丸みを帯びてきて、隣同士のマットと2センチは間隔ができる。寝心地は抜群。朝おきて、どこも体が痛くない。家族も熟睡できた。底冷えは皆無。子供は「またキャンプに行きたーい」と初キャンプは無事成功に終わりました。冬になり12月双子座流星群を見るために外でコットとマット、冬用寝袋と組み合わせて使用。外気は3°。底冷え皆無。ぬくぬくと2時間ほど流星群を楽しめました。最高のマットレスです。

自動空気入りの仕組みがあるのため、使いやすい。また、マットレスが厚いので、心地がすごく良い。XXL ver.を選らんたので、以前使った他のものに比べで、断然贅沢気分。

J'avais déjà le modèle 6 cm et je peux dire que c'est du très bon matos. Parfait pour le camping. Le prix un peu élevé me parait justifié
