FindTape Polyester Felt Tape [1mm thick] (FELT-06): 2 in. x 15 ft. (Black)

I read previous reviews stating that it was hard to separate the paper from the sticky side, making the whole roll unusable. I thought "they're probably not being careful, how hard could it possibly be?" I found out that it's indeed nearly impossible to separate the glue on the tape side from the paper backing. I spent a lot longer on the project because I had to stop and wrestle the backing off for every segment. The waxpaper backing uses sticky wax, not the smooth kind, which makes separating the tape a real pain.Struggle through it if you want. The felt tape did perform the job, so no complaints there. I just wish they didn't use sticky wax for the paper backing, as that did eat up a lot of my time.

I've used this to silence several rattles in my car coming from the paneling. I've removed paneling, applied the tape at contact points, and reassembled the paneling.The only real problem with this tape is the difficulty involved in separating the cover for the adhesive side from the adhesive. It's really, really difficult. A lot of times by the time I finally get the cover separated from the adhesive, I've ended up tearing off and warping a fair amount of the felt at that end. Maybe a thicker cover over the adhesive would make it easier to get a hold of to separate. Not sure. As it is it's really tough and where most of my time ends up going during the process of prepping the location for use, measuring and cutting the tape to size, and applying the tape.In areas where there is a sharp corner, the tape eventually pops loose when it's warm and will not readhere. But since the contact points are already closed by the reattached paneling, it stays in place and continues to silence the rattles. Just doesn't look terribly nice.What I would like, though, is felt tape just like this at half the thinness. This is just a tiny bit too thick for some of the places I want to use it.

Was looking for felt to put on the bottom of the rockers for a rocking chair when I came across this felt tape. The width was perfect for the rockers. The chair has been used quite a bit since applying this product and there have been no issues with this product. Would definitely buy this again. Its much more convenient than buying sheets and cutting them to apply. One long strip on each side and it was done! In just a matter of a few minutes I had this placed and was using the rocking chair.

This product does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does it very well!I had a beautiful vintage rocking chair that I discovered was badly scuffing the wood floor. I tried a rug underneath, but that made it more difficult to rock the chair. I tried felt pads from the local big box home improvement store, but they were too thick and didn’t adhere properly. After some searching, I discovered this product. The photo of the chair is after a year of regular use - the felt hasn’t moved a bit and still has enough padding to protect the floor. I also recently put it in an old built-in hutch to help the drawers slide more smoothly.The only tricky part is removing the backing paper. I had better luck peeling from the side rather than the end of the roll.I found the felt easy to reposition but haven’t needed to remove it yet. I’ll update the review if I ever do!

I bought a few rolls of this because I had some wood on wood furniture contact that I wanted to quiet down. This was absolutely perfect. It is very strong with a just-right adhesive backing that keeps in place. No more rubbing or squeaking noises from the wood surfaces it not cushions. It was just what I was looking for. The only issue I had with it was when trying to separate it from the release paper after cutting it. It is difficult at times to peel away the backing paper. I learned not to cut it off flush and to leave some release paper exposed so I could separate the next piece. A minor inconvenience.

This felt is really good. I am using it for eliminating and preventing squeaks from the plastic trim in the car and it seems perfect for it. In fact it seems very similar to the felt used by AudiIt comes on a hard paper roll. I got the 2" wide and then I cut it to size to fit the area I wanted to cover. I also cut a long thin strip to put around the trim piece for the gear shifter. The long thing strips is where you can tell a good product from a bad product because if the self adhesive backing is the cheap type, then it will not adhere well. I am pleased to report that it held really well and stayed in place even under pressure when reinstalling the trim pieces.

Good adhesion, good density, not overly fuzzy. perfect for quieting interior automotive trim. I bought it to replace my compound bow QAD drop away rest. Its quiet and so far has lasted twice as long as quad felt kit, its been through rain, snow and heat, still good to go and it is slightly thicker than quad felt but did not change my point of arrow impact. Also put a pad on my riser for the smack down of arrow rest and inside top of my quiver to stop any noise of tapping it during arrow removal. I took the time to write this because I was so fed up with QAD felt not lasting, and this stuff is awesome, after wrapping it, use serving string to really lock it down, watch on youtube

We replaced our entertainment center for one that is completely open (thus, no hidden storage). Since nice-looking bins cost about the same as vintage-look suitcases & chests, I went with the latter for a fun look (it was actually a better fit for our DVDs too). Unfortunately a lot of these have unfinished wood or metal on the bottom and I didn't want to scratch up the wood on the new furniture. I used this felt tape on the bottom outside edges of all the boxes - problem solved. It was a fast, easy & reasonably priced fix that protects the furniture without adding unsightly bulk. Looking at the shelves you can't even tell there's anything under the boxes. It's thin enough that you could put a strip or two on smaller items as well if you had a concern about them scratching a certain surface (for example, something with a stone base). This worked perfectly well & looks so great that I didn't even try the sheet of sticky-back felt I bought at the same time, I guess that can wait for a future project.

Larghezza ideale, rimane libero un mezzo centimetro per parte, il colore è lo stesso della federa (se l'avete presa nera), lo spessore è minimo così da non infastidire il dondolamento e la lunghezza giusta giusta per ricoprire entrambe le slitte, e ne rimane abbastanza per sostituirlo qualora fosse necessario.
