Easy Off Heavy Duty Oven and Grill Cleaner Multi, 14.5 Ounce, Lemon (Pack of 1)

Normally, I prefer to clean greasy stuff like my stovetop, pots & pans etc. with baking soda and vinegar. (If you've never tried this economical and environmentally trick to remove baked on grime, try I! Just dust the item with baking soda then spray the surface with cheap white vinegar and even the worst baked on stuff will be gone in a blink! Rinse with plain water & your item's like new!) But there are some things that are impossible to treat that way, like my fireplace insert window. As we're burning wood the creosote builds up on the glass making it difficult to both monitor the fire or enjoy it. One must be extremely careful cleaning hot glass and scrub pads are out of the question. One day some years ago I took a chance (figuring if one could use Easy Off on hot ovens then it should work on a fireplace. OMG! Easy Off worked incredibly well! I sprayed it liberally on the (very) hot glass and in just seconds I could see the creosote bubble up. I crumpled up some paper towels, wiped down the glass & that was it... mission accomplished! The glass was absolutely spotless and I didn't even have to wait for the insert to cool down! I use Easy Off for any job where baked on grease is a problem. BTW, the new formula EasyOff is better than that which I used growing up... almost no fumes & I only need gloves to protect from heat burns.

This oven cleaner needs some time to work effectively but it definitely does remove super difficult, built-up stains! You'll still need to reapply with heavy stains and spots but it makes cleaning your oven so much easier!

Easy Off Heavy Duty Oven and Grill Cleaner works great and makes cleaning your oven much easier. Purchase price of $4.24 was reasonable and convenient to have it delivered right to your door. I've purchased a few different formulas of this Easy Off oven cleaner and they do a good job. I hadn't cleaned the inside of my oven for awhile, so there was a lot of baked on grease, especially on the metal shelf grates. I removed the grates, sprayed them, along with the inside of the oven, and let them sit for a few hours. The grates were easy to wipe clean with minimal scrubbing. There is a minor smell with this but nothing too overpowering. I've purchased the Easy Off in the yellow can also and it seems to work the same as this formula, however this one says it works for grills also. But they work the same and help you save time.

This product was just okay. I don’t know if it’s because I got the lemon scented version, but it did not work as hoped. I didn’t have any issues with the fumes. But even leaving the cleaner on for eight hours, I still had a lot of cleaning to do. I ended up going another route completely to clean my oven because this worked so poorly. It worked a little bit, but wan’t much help in the long run.

We bought a house with an oven that literally hadn't been cleaned and maybe 10 years? The entire stovetop just had a thick layer of grime from people using it and obviously not cleaning up after themselves. I was worried we would just have to get a new stove because it was so disgusting looking. Thought I would give this a try on just the stovetop cooking surface itself. Super easy to spray on and after about a minute, I could take a paper towel and literally just remove this layer of grime. I did have to use a second pass to get it totally clean, but Accounting for how bad it was, that's more than OK. Buying this again to cut through other cookware that has a thick coat of grease on it.

I didn't use it for the conventional reason you would normal use it. The top of my stove was really nasty after my son decided to fry stuff and not clean it. I tried everything to get it off. And figured this was used to clean the oven so I hoped it would work on the top. Tried it and omg amazing! Sprays on easy wipes off easy and completely cleaned my stove! It also worked on the hood. I also had used it in my shower. Lol I know just hear me out. I make homemade soap and in some I use activated charcoal and it gets on everything. And some cleaners do not get it completely off the floor. Sprayed this on left it over night because I was just to tired to clean it. The next morning got in to take a shower, forgot I sprayed it in there and almost slipped. But didn't and moved my foot around and every bit of the charcoal was lifted and going down the drain.
