Game still works in 2020 from DISC
Not sure why the 1 guy said it didnt work. Games always work if you have the original disc.I even got back my accelerator and kickstart pack all my CAWS previously download and both my old My Career characters. You only cant do anything that requires any multi player and for my career invasion is off.Other than that you can start a new my career with all extras available you had before or play matches to get SP instead of VC to unlock them you can even import custom CAWs you downloaded prior to the servers going offline which is the other negative community creations is unavailable but anything you had before is available. And it looks and plays awesome love W2K16 dont miss it.

Bad Graphics, Worse Career Mode.
Games like this make me yearn for Smackdown vs Raw. It's a game with a nice roster, decent development, but terrible execution. The graphics are atrocious for a game on the new consoles. Mouth movement, voice syncing, voice acting, and character animations are stale, robotic, and generally predictable. The game feels far too slow in comparison to other games involving combat. The reversal system can literally shift the tone of an entire match in ways that make it so you can't come back. Basically, it's a thumb war. If you have control the other guy isn't getting out from under you. The reversal system is a cheap cop out with charges to help the computer win.MyCareer is pretty awful. You fight in match after match with no real storyline chasing title after title. You get some post match interviews with a blonde woman more akin to a Halloween manikin than actual person, and your response which are cookie cutter good guy/bad guy determine your face or heel status. For a game that was touting it's Career mode as being the best in the series, I found it disappointing. Rivalries play out the same way with interrupting each others matches or entrances, but there's no trash talk to speak of and no background story like any of the THQ games used to do.The only reason I even bothered reviewing this was for the Austin Showcase. If you bought the game to play the Career mode, skip over MyCareer and go to this. Yeah, it's not your own character, but it's far more entertaining getting to relieve some of the highlights of Steve Austin's Career. Developers take note, build a Career Mode that keeps players interested, not a monotonous match after match grind for belts that don't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

That's the bottom DOTTED line
Game doesn't offer much in terms of "how to play". I only just figured out how to play by creating a character. While I am a fan of a lot of the characters involved (it's hard not to get pumped up hearing the Ultimate Warrior's theme song and seeing him running in the ring like an over-caffeinated, over-muscled, Energizer bunny), it's some of the gameplay that frustrates me. I actually really liked how Smackdown Vs. Raw 2009 controlled with the various throws and grapples that could be used depending on the style of grapple (you could choose between a shoulder breaker or a powerbomb based on how you start the grapple). This game doesn't offer that, unfortunately. But in this game, the biggest grip is the reversals. If you don't like QTE (quick-time events), then this may not be the game for you. I get that the game is sort-of simulating the amount of time you have to make a reversal (because let's be real, WWE is all about realism), but it's frustrating if you're really bad at them and it takes away some of the feel of the game itself since you're just holding your breath trying to time the reversal JUST right. You kind of figure it out, eventually, but that doesn't make it any less annoying. The ring also feels...small. I don't know how else to put it. The animation of the game is smooth overall, but it's almost like because of the smoothness of the game and the smoothness of the animations, you feel like the extra motion frames take up space and an irish whip will result in not much time to prepare/react since your opponent comes right back at you.The finishers also feel less...polished. In previous games, finishers felt powerful. You could almost feel the impact of the stunners, pedigrees, the tombstone piledrivers, and the rock bottoms. This game, it's kind of like, "...meh". They're there, make no mistake, but there's not as much of that satisfying "BOOM" feeling when you land a finisher before your opponent knows what hit them. Maybe it's just me, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who felt slightly underwhelmed.Overall, however, the game is fun. There are plenty of options available and the roster starts out pretty huge anyway, which is nice. I might be more inclined to stick with SvsR 2009 because DX, but otherwise, it's a decent enough game at the right price. (I'd give it a 3.5, not quite a 4, but that's not really an option.

The only thing
that I don't like about this game is that if you get it for your boyfriend he's probably going to disappear for a while and you'll start to miss him. But oh well, absense makes the heart grow fonder right? Anyway, I got it for him for Christmas. His reaction when he opened it was priceless. He was so excited and he couldn't believe I got it for him. When he played it, he said he had to take some time to "figure it out". I guess when you very first start the game, your wrestling skill level/abilities or whatever are very low so it makes it difficult. I don't know. I don't play video games. But he likes how you get to create your own characters. He made one that looks just like himself and named him the "Latin Lumberjack". Point is, he really seems to like the game. Since it makes him happy, it makes me happy so I give this game 5 stars.

Great game for great price!
Was exactly what I'd hope for. The game is perfect. Didn't have any scratches and came well protected. Haven't had an issue with the disc yet and I've had this disc since June of this year. Would definitely purchase from this company again.
