Scanned all my old documents / bills etc without any pain into my computer - pdf files. ( A note explaining that the 90 degree shield need not be up would have helped and speeded up the simple process). I may have just missed it! First class unit from Brother as usual.

bought for our accounts department and they think its great. They are busy throwing tiny receipts and anything else through it and say its works great. From their feedback would strongly recommend

This was a good upgrade for my Brother DS 620 but it does not have a carrying pouch. I can fit it into the DS620 pouch fortunately but a portable scanner without a protective carrier is a bad idea. The cable supplied with it is too short for use and you need to be careful to buy a high quality longer cable or the scanner will not work. That said it is a great scanner for scanning. Brother just cheated with no carrying protective pouch big time and a too short cable to some extent. Had I not had a carrier already it would have been a problem.

This is a nifty piece of kit which not only does what it is supposed to do, but it does it very well. Very impressive!!

After 2-3 months I still can not setting it and can not work with that whereas I have another 2 brother devices for my business but this one not worrying !

Von dem Teil bin ich begeistert. Wird unter macOS benutzt. Einfache Handhabung, viele Einstellmöglichkeiten in der Scansoftware. Beidseitiger Scan gleichzeitig, zusammenführen mehrerer Scans zu einem Dokument usw.. Mobil, leicht, kein Netzteil nötig. Das Ding funktioniert wirklich gut. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Scanner vraiment au top du top et ne prend que peu de place. Parfait pour un usage personnel.

Scanner portatile senza fronzoli, alimentato dal pc a cui viene collegato, scansione fronte/retro in un solo passaggio e funziona bene anche per i documenti in formato tessera come carta di identità, codice fiscale etc. Richiede l’installazione di software molto completo e gratuito da scaricare dal sito Brother ma si fa rapidamente e in seguito funziona tutto bene soprattutto per la gestione dei PDF. il funzionamento è veloce e intuitivo e il prezzo non eccessivo per le prestazioni offerte.

Ich nutze den Brother DS-740 mobilen Scanner inzwischen regelmäßig unterwegs und im Homeoffice. Für mobile Einsätze ist er insgesamt wirklich praktisch: leicht, schnell angeschlossen und die Scanqualität überzeugt sowohl in Farbe als auch in Schwarz-Weiß. Das gefällt mir besonders • Sehr kompakt und leicht – passt problemlos in Tasche oder Rucksack • Gute Scanqualität bei Dokumenten und Belegen • Vorder- und Rückseite in einem Durchgang möglich • Einfache Stromversorgung über USB, ideal ohne zusätzliches Netzteil • Mit rund 15 Seiten pro Minute ausreichend schnell für den mobilen Einsatz Gerade für Rechnungen, Unterlagen oder unterwegs gescannte Dokumente ist das Gerät absolut ausreichend und zuverlässig. Kleiner Nachteil im Alltag Man muss jede Seite einzeln einlegen, was bei vielen Dokumenten etwas Zeit kostet. Außerdem zieht der Scanner das Papier gelegentlich minimal schräg ein, wodurch der Scan leicht versetzt sein kann. Das passiert nicht ständig, ist aber spürbar. ⸻ Fazit Ein sehr praktischer mobiler Scanner mit guter Qualität und einfacher Handhabung – ideal für unterwegs oder gelegentliches Scannen. Für große Stapel ist er weniger gedacht, aber im mobilen Alltag erfüllt er seinen Zweck sehr zuverlässig. Trotz kleiner Schwächen würde ich ihn klar weiterempfehlen.
