They fit and work great so far, I believe they distribute heat a bit different then the ones that came on my chargriller but work good. Hoping being stainless they'll last a lot longer then the stock ones

Heavier than the originals, and nice to have stainless. They are polished stainless. The stainless is magnetic, so it's not the highest grade and will eventually rust due to the heat, but it is stainless.They did have the square holes punched already, so no problems there.However, the ends are cut square, not tapered like the originals, so they didn't fit all the way down onto the hanger brackets of my 5050. This means the sharp corners would be digging into the sides of my grill, especially when they expand while hot. I fixed it by trimming the corners off of the vertical lip using some snips. That was enough to get them to sit down. I may need to trim more to accommodate heat expansion.They are the same width, but taller than the originals, which means (1) the grease may roll off a little better, but (2) this may affect heat distribution. I'll have to try it out.

They made my grill better to use

These were a direct fit for my Char-Griller 3001 BBQ. Pulled the pieces of my old ones out, dropped these right in. They definitely cook more evenly than my old ones that were falling apart, but I can't remember what the original parts were like when new. These turn black after a few uses but that should be expected. Check your burners before ordering these, if those are also failing you may want to replace more than just these pieces.

These stainless flame guards are far superior to the original parts made by Char-Griller in my opinion. The ones I ordered did have the pre-punched holes in the correct locations. However, my brackets had already rusted off, so I realized that these new bars sit nicely in the grill without the brackets anyway. In other words, don't spend money on the expensive replacement brackets, just set these flame guards directly over the flame tubes. The concave shape of the grill holds them in place with no problems. A very simple and elegant solution.

purchased these for my dad's BBQ. He is very happy with them so far! He said they seem to be better quality than the ones the BBQ came with originally. Time will tell how long they last.

Does the job properly, but it's literally a piece of bent stainless steel. It does flare up if you get fat dripping on it, but didn't rust so far.
