This was a replacement for an older sofa-bed with a worn out spring mattress. Getting something without any off-gassing was very important. This mattress is incredibly comfortable and had no foul odor at all. It's thick, which is part of the comfort factor, but was still able to fold down into the sofa bed without trouble.

This mattress is totally inappropriate for use in a sofabed. The description claims "the mattress provides enough support for a 250lb adult to sleep comfortably" - nonsense.We purchased this item to "upgrade" an old sofabed mattress and it was immediately evident this mattress is not suitable for this purpose. The latex is too soft and you will immediately sink right through to the metal frame of your sofa. My wife is 115lbs and I am 210lbs. So - both of us are under the "250lb" guideline and neither of us could stand this mattress. It is really only suitable as a topper, and it is way too thick for that purpose.The worst part about this mattress - the shipping and return when you realize you don't like it. The mattress is made from latex, and heavily compressed at the factory. When you receive it and open it up, it will expand almost 3x the size, and is essentially impossible to shrink down to size for a return in the same box. It will take lots of wrapping and tape to get it back in, and the shipment back is exorbitantly expensive as a result.In short - they have no business selling this mattress for sofabeds through Amazon, and if you don't like it, you will lose a decent chunk of the price trying to return it. As obvious as it sounds, you are much better served to go check it out in person beforehand.Also - you buy from non-Amazon prime sellers at your risk. I will never buy anything from a non-prime seller unless it is really lightweight.

The PlushBeds Natural Latex Sofa Bed Mattress fit my sofa well. I would have preferred another 1" more thickness as it bottoms out without some added support under it. Not much different then my original innerspring mattress but that was an upgrade when I bought the sofa bed. There was no smell that I noticed. I prefer Latex mattresses so it worked out well for me.

100% real latex. Full-Wide. Folds perfectly for Futon-Couch. Just enough thickness for sitting and plenty for sleeping (Me 150 lbs.).

So this might *might* be my error but I do not think so. When I bought the "Latex" I did not know it was only 1 inch of latex over some other kind of foam.I love latex and I could feel the lack of latex in the lack of 'cushion' in my hips and shoulders. I'm disappointed to not get a 100% latex mattress.

Bought this mattress because as my kids were having a sleepover at the house and needed the extra bed or it would have been sleeping bags.I expected to air the mattress in case of any lingering smell... but I was proven wrong and now owe my wife a fancy dinner for losing the bet. As for the kids, they love it...it's soft and just the sort of bed we'd expect at this particular price point. Delivery was surprisingly swift ( even though I had to miss a day at work but then again ... my little girls excitement more than made up for it.) Highly recommend
