Perfect for hot nights
I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Perfect for keeping me cool during hot summer nights. Forget about the complex & expensive water recirculating systems, this does the same for a fraction of the cost.

It will lower your body temperature
The mattress is great for night sweats/hot sleepers. Only downside is the filling- it doesn’t come with any hose or connectors, so filling it is a pain. You also need to fill it where you are going to use it- water is heavy.....

May require tweaking, but will be worth the effort!
I sleep (or don't sleep) hot! Bought this to get the same cooling effect as my previous water bed. Placed it under sheet while filled half-way...too cold! Reduced amount of water, & added blanket on top...better. Then used for sick relative who whose natural temperature regulating was broken....worked well for her! Next, I will place under my 2" mattress pad....hope it will be just right!

A Solution for Hot Sleepers
I've spent most of my adult life trying to figure out how to sleep on a squishy, hot nightmare of memory foam. My wife loves the stuff, but it traps too much of my body's intense energy for my comfort. No joke, I have an entirely separate bedroom for days when I can't take the heat. I'm 5'10" and 205lbs. Relatively athletic; a dad-bod Adonis, if you will.I've tried all kinds of products to try to cool off and chill out while I sleep. Sadly, my journey has been a fruitless adventure that usually ends with me sleeping separately from my beautiful wife. No pillow, sheet, nor pad could cool my hot bod. Yet, I steeled my resolve and got back on the forums and guides for hot sleepers to see what I could dig up.My salvation came when Amazon's algorithm figured me out. They recommended me this cooling bladder, and it immediately piqued my interest. With the knowledge that water bed users have the lowest chance of complaining of heat retention, I thought this was worth a try, especially over discarding my wife's favorite mattress en lieu of a small, captured lake wearing a Jimmy hat.The short and skinny is that we live in a humid area and it's the middle of summer. We filled the overlay almost to the low setting and hit the hay. I could feel my excessive heat quickly falling away into the heatsink that is beneath me. An hour or so passes, and I can't quite tell why I can't sleep, but I feel chilled. I start getting the same kind of feeling I get when I'm mountain climbing and trying to sleep cold. Then it struck me that I was cold as balls. My hands were cold, and though I could probably endure it, it would be best if I increased the temp a bit. I wandered out into the living room like a sleepy racoon and looted some of my winter camping gear for warmth. I returned to my bed wearing a mountaineering sweatshirt, a beanie, and slipped into some sweet Crimbo pants. I thought this would be enough, but I'm my below temperature heart of hearts I knew better. I went ahead and also grabbed a crocheted blanket to throw over me.After absconding with cold weather gear, determination boiled up inside of me. I would not be defeated by this garden hose filled overlay that was stealing my spot in bed. I slowly put on my gear imagining Eye of the Tiger playing and being amazed that I'd go this far on a summer night. Ready to sleep on a mountain, I lay back down on the plastic bladder that had promised to make me a snowball in hell and closed my eyes. I immediately knew that this was enough and I would be able to sleep. To my wife's great surprise, she woke up to me in a beanie, a very heavy sweater, and the heaviest blanket in the house. As a wife does, she thought this was hilarious.
