My daughter loved it

Eleven year old Olive lives in a very strange house that used to belong to the McMartin family. A family of witches and wizards. One day, she meets a boy her own age called Rutherford and accidentally tells him the great secret. Soon, olive finds herself in big trouble alone without any friends anymore. How will she escape the evil powers of the old stone house that still want to get rid of her?Spellbound is a wonderful book that gives the reader a lot of suspense. It also is very humorous and I sometimes find myself laughing out loud when I read. I give this book a five out of five stars and recommend it to anyone that likes magic and fun.P.S. This book would be easier to understand if you have read the first book " The Shadows" that is also as good as the first. I can't wait to read the third volume!

My daughter suggested I read this book since my 10 year old granddaughter is reading this series. They live out of state and this would give 'us' a chance to email our 'conversation' about this series. I am extremely hard of hearing so rely on email. I found this to be a very interesting and just the right book for us. I love myteries and now I can chat with Kira and share my interest in mysteries with her at her level.

My 10yr old daughter and I love these books! Good story line that has you guessing at times!
