This is delicious. The black garlic adds wonderful flavor to food and the heat is no joke.

I grew up eating eggs with grape jelly (don't knock it til you try it) and this is like an adult upgrade!! The blueberry isn't overwhelming or artificial-tasting at all. Just a hint of sweetness with a fruity essence. I cannot say enough good things about this hot sauce. I turned into a Hot Sauce Person during lockdown when I watched a zillion episodes of HotOnes. My hot sauce affinity turned into nearly an obsession after I lost my sense of taste and smell and dumped hot sauce on everything I ate just so it felt like I was eating *something*. Luckily my senses returned after a month but my hot sauce obsession never waned. I love this sauce so much that I've gifted it to several hot sauce-loving friends. Beware though - for me, this sauce is SO HOT and the heat builds with every bite. Which is rough because I absolutely douse my food in it. So tasty and so painful. By the end of the meal I'm chugging beer with every bite, sweat pouring down my face, seeing stars with tears streaming from my eyes. But I can't stop shoveling the hot sauce-laden food into my mouth, despite the pain. The agony is just so worth it. I put it on everything you'd put hot sauce on, but my favorite is on eggs over easy on a slice of toast. Also great on pork chops and chicken. If you enjoy hot sauce that's a little bit different than your standard hot sauce (which I also enjoy!), I recommend giving this a try. It's on sale often and 100% worth a try if you like hot sauce.

First off, I had no idea this was featured on Hot Ones as the title suggests. I simply purchased this on a whim because I wanted to free shipping and enjoy a good hot sauce. Did not look into it any further than that. That said, holy cow does this have some heat. I was certainly not expecting it. This is one of those where I tell folks that come over, if they want to go life and death with their food, give it a shot. It's definitely not for folks that just want to spice up their food a tad. That said, I do have buddies who come over and enjoy it on their pizza and what not, so it's not a total waste for me, but I can't say I've had it much beyond my initial try with it. It's way hotter than I had expected. I'll give it a 5 star however because I didn't read into how hot it was and for some people, perhaps it's not terribly hot. You can't really punish the sauce just because you can't take it as well as others. Besides, my buddies that have it, say it does taste really good, so I trust them since they can handle it much better than me :D

EDIT UPDATE: Below, you'll see I did a 1 star review because of the price. $20 for a bottle was too much. Prices are lower now. But here's the thing... This stuff is GOOD! Like REALLY good. It's VERY spicy so a little goes a long way. I bought this a while ago and still have plenty left, and it's practically my go-to sauce now for spice and flavor. And it has some great flavor! At around $10-12 per bottle, I'd give it 5 stars, At $15/bottle, 4 stars. At the old $20 per bottle price, I'd still give it 3 stars. BUYER BEWARE! I ordered this as an impulse purchase. Amazon had it on my home page. Looked interesting and I love hot sauces, so I plopped it in my cart and it ended up being purchased with other items. A few days later, reviewing my items I saw this, saw that it was still 4 days away from delivery and that it was $20 for a tiny little bottle! I tried to cancel the order since it was still 4 days away but Amazon said it couldn't be cancelled. When it arrived, I tried to return it but it is NOT RETURNABLE!, even if sill sealed. The ingredients don't mention gold, platinum or diamonds, so I'm not sure why it's so expensive. I'd say $10 or $11 MAYBE. Even Truff is 25% less and you get more. COMPLETELY NOT WORTH THE VALUE and I'm disappointed that I couldn't cancel the order or return the item.

Amazon's algorithm was cooking... I was looking for a replacement for another, less available hot sauce that I like (reaper/flavorful savory component/sweet component), when I was given a 50% off flash sale on this sauce... so, I bought two bottles of it. I don't regret it. This is an umami bomb with black garlic, and a little goes a long way in terms of both flavor and heat. It's intense, tends to make the face red and sweaty, but doesn't linger long. I like to put a few dashes of it in a bowl of noodles, but beware, this is a very thin sauce with no dripper insert. It's not quite as sweet as the sauce I was replacing, and there is a little maple as advertised, but the vinegar gives a sweet/sour effect.

Best hot sauce ever I put it lit on everything and sometimes I even drink it out of the bottle. It’s that good and it has the right amount of heat. I love it.

This is a great sauce, which has a nice savoury flavour. There is a bit of vinegar to it but definitely not overpowering. When I first tried it, the smokey maple flavour actually hit me first. The heat is quite intense, and builds rather than just immediately setting your tongue on fire - in my opinion resulting in a tingly throat heat that puts me in mind of a Scotch whisky's warmth. Uses natural ingredients so it's not an artificial heat, and works well as a condiment or mixed in with a chilli, or whatever you fancy! Would definitely buy again! Don't use whilst drinking beer though - found that out the hard way.

It's great with quality ingredients but sometimes I feel like people just make hot sauces to test their pain tolerances. Unfortunately, I could not taste much miso.

This is without a doubt the nicest tasting hot sauce I've ever had. It's hot, but not hot enough to detract from its delicious flavour. Goes well with everything so it's an incredibly versatile sauce. Will definitely be buying again.

I was first dubious about the price, given how cheap saucss are at the supermarket, but after reading reviews and seeing this on hot ones, I can agree that this sauce is amazing. The sauce is thick and has a complex flavour. I could be forgiven for thinking most hot sauces need to be very runny or smell like vinegar, given thats how most mainstream ones are (tabasco, Frank's hot sauce etc.) , but this is something else. A strong miso flavour, thick sauce and a burn that grows at the back of the throat before tingling lips. Money well spent and would buy again! If only more sauces were this well put together.
