Buyer Beware - Their customer service is beyond unacceptable
The 1 gallon jug of this product was only 75% full upon arrival and was immediately noticeable upon taking it out the box because of how light it was. To be clear, I’m NOT talking about the jug being 75% full to the top, I’m talking about it not having a full one gallon of product in the jug. I could’ve cared less how much extra air was in the jug as long as it contained the actual 1 gallon of product I paid for. I even had to measure the amount in a separate 1 gallon measuring pitcher to verify how much less than a gallon it really was (it contained only a hair over 3 quarts in the jug). Now it wasn’t like this was the end of the world or anything because hey, stuff happens, but nobody wants to get 75% of what they paid for. So, I then tried reaching out to the seller first to see how we could figure out the best way to resolve this issue instead of just rushing to leave some half-baked negative review like most buyers are unfortunately too quick to do.I explained how (weirdly enough) the little card stock-like seal was intact and not punctured, but hardly glued around the edges of the jug’s opening like any other liquid container normally is. For example, I could flip it off the bottle with my thumb the same way you’d flip a coin, so I’m guessing that the cap being twisted on there pretty good was enough to prevent any leakage because there were also no signs of any of the product having leaked out in transit (no wet stains on the cardboard or signs of dried up Zyme on the side of the bottle). Weird as this little mystery may have been, I wasn’t blaming the seller or Amazon, but at the end of the day, no one should have to just settle for receiving an inadequate product, so that’s why I reached out to the seller in the first place.Which leads me to why I’m actually leaving this review...instead of trying to work with me to resolve the problem, the seller responded back with this passive aggressive attitude and insulting my intelligence by trying to tell me what Amazon fulfillment is (as they went on to basically shift blame to Amazon and the manufacturer). Then...they tried to discourage me from leaving a bad review about their customer service by saying my review would just get erased. Then...without even knowing me or the amount of business I was going to be bringing them from my partners and their communities, the seller flat out accused me of only “trying to get a refund”, where I would’ve been perfectly happy with returning the defective product and exchanging it for one that actually contained the full gallon of product that I paid for. After an unnecessary amount of back and forth of me basically explaining to them the same things I’ve said above, they finally tried offering an extra quart of the product. Unfortunately for them the damage was already done and the bridge burned. So this review is not just about me getting what’s essentially a defective product that was falsely advertised as being 1 gallon but was only 3 quarts. It’s more importantly about me giving you a fair warning about an Amazon seller that doesn’t care about customers and appears to be perfectly okay with you getting less than what you paid for because in their eyes as long as they believe it’s not their fault and they’ve already gotten your money, you’re basically stuck. Purchase any of their products at your own risk, but I and many others, will DEFINITELY not be a future customer.
