makes a difference
This primer makes a big difference in how long your lipstick will stay looking good. It helps your lipstick define the border of your lips nicely and stay on longer. I did not think it would make a difference but it does. Love it.

there aren't good instructions on the Gabriel site
I read the reviews here and other sites trying to figure out how to get this primer right; there aren't good instructions on the Gabriel site. I have never used lipstick regularly before and I wanted to learn how to get smudgeless deep color lips. It took me about 2 weeks of trial and error to get it right, and still not 100%. Use your finger to put a thin layer of primer on; a brush applies too much and not as evenly. Do not rub lips together, let it dry/set for about 3 minutes. Then apply a thin layer of lipstick and let it set. If you see primer on your lipstick, the primer was not set and may have been too heavy a layer, so wipe off and start over. After the first layer of lipstick is set, a few minutes, you can apply another thin layer of lipstick. The primer does help keep it set, but you still have to reapply after a meal.

Great product!
I’ve never used a lip primer before due to severe cosmetic allergies. Decided to try this after so many issues with breakouts with lipsticks leaving my lips darker than normal. This smoothes things out bro Goli g out the real color of the lipstick. Don’t need much - just a finger and it goes on smoothly!

It helps my lips but after a bit of usage I feel I am better of just using hydration devices. I needs to set before I apply any other makeup in the are and then we are good to go

Great for mature lips!
I’m very impressed with this lip primer! I have wrinkles around my mouth and my lipstick tends to feather. This lip primer stopped that from happening! I put it on and it’s fairly dry when it goes on but I do let it set for a few minutes before I put my lipstick on. It makes my lips look soft smooth! For anyone with more mature lips like mine you will probably really like how much smoother and younger your lips look. It makes my lipstick last longer as well. I think it’s a good price for the great quality. You only need a little bit each time you use it. This is the product that I didn’t know I needed!!
