Bought this kind of as a joke and didn't realize how much laughter we are going to have. Should have ordered new underwear because I pee myself. So much laughing so hard. The little guy plays with his thing non-stop. We don't get any sleep now, but it's hard to be upset at a 3-month-old puppy that has discovered something that he enjoys just as much as running around outside and terrorizing the cat.I didn't really buy it as a gift for anybody other than maybe a gift for our entertainment. So I don't know how giftable this thing would be. But if you had somebody that had a small dog and you gifted it to them, you would forever be their friends. Trust me.And at this point the price wasn't even part of the consideration and purchasing it. We were more or less obsessed with not getting any sleep anymore and peeing ourselves so many times from laughing.I did have to make one change to it though. It does come apart rather easily and with a small dog that loves to shake the snot out of stuff I was afraid that it would come apart and the little flashy thing that's inside of it would come out and he would swallow it. So we did remove that and we just kind of keep an eye on him but he has yet to get it to come apart. So I did subtract one star for that if they could have somehow have made it. So once you pushed it together, it wouldn't come apart again. Or maybe heat welded the plastic together so you couldn't come apart

While this toy may indeed be useful to keep your chicken quiet, at least for a few moments while it reacts in confusion at the noises made by this toy, buyers who were hoping it will keep their children quiet will be quite disappointed as this toy not only emits a loud noise, but may cause your children to emit loud noises in reply.

This lasted about 5 minutes with our small dog. Very poor quality for being listed as "for dogs". Plus, the neck detaches from the body right at the bowtie, and the small noise maker is then accessible to the dog.I would NOT recommend this for a dog, no matter what it says in the listing.

We love this silly chicken! It’s easy for our golden retriever to pick up and hold and it’s probably her favorite toy in a basket of plenty to choose from. Durable, fun design!

This is not a good toy for dogs that are heavy chewers

My kido and dog both love it
