if you are the type of person that doesn't change your HVAC filter regularly, this level of filter is not for you. if you have allergies or significant pet dander you might want to buy a heavier duty filter. for normal, average use this is for you.. great value for the price. correct sizing and easy to use.

I've been using filters for over twenty years. Experience has shown me that if I use higher MERV rated filters then my AC Unit works longer to cool my house and that means more work for my AC. If I use lower MERV rated filters then my AC Unit cools down my house faster but then some small dust particles are getting through. There's a balance, and it is going to be different for every household. Like do you have a dog, a cat, or multiple pets? Do you have high environmental allergies? When I use Filterbuy Air Filter MERV 8 Dust Defense Electrostatic Charged Filters we can visually see the difference when we change out the filter. These particular filters have proven to remove more without placing restrictions on the air flow and our house cools down quickly and without the dust that we used to get with other brands. I had my ducks cleaned in march, the first time I turned on my air conditioner black soot came out of my registers. I had to pay technician to come out. He checked everything out and told me what type of filter to use, said the basic pleated regular thickness filter is best it doesn't pay to buy the thick heavy duty filters he said that is just a farce to charge more money so he chose these told me to buy them. They work extremely well I'm changing this daily until the black soot stop showing and then he said once every three or four months after that. Grateful for this technician, peace of mind is priceless

This is my second purchase of these filters. They work very well. I was disappointed that the filters were not wrapped in plastic and box was loosely taped. The fedex driver dropped on the ground instead of delivery box or porch. If it had rained all filters would have been damaged . I will not reorder filters that are not wrapped in plastic or other protective film.

They were great, the first ones I sent for were too big my mistake. The second one I ordered were the wrong size then I ordered a third and finally were perfect .they are working very well

Furnace filter does the job

Ordered June 14, with delivery date of June 25-July 8. I was worried that delivery date was over the July long, but product arrived early, on June 23. Product is as advertised, and is good value. Note product dimensions are incorrect, actual thickness is 19 mm (3/4"). Already ordered same for our daughter.
