The description in the title is inaccurate because this is not a heavy blanket, nor is the weave tight. The blanket itself is very thin and the weave is very loose. The material is scratchy and the ends are sewn with some type of plastic filament. It's very uncomfortable to the touch. Additionally, there was a great deal of material lint on the floor after just opening the blanket. Would not recommend.

I am so mad at this blanket! I washed in cold water according to tag instructions, and when I pulled it out of the washer, a HUGE amount of fuzz went everywhere! I mean everywhere. Covered the entire outfit I was wearing, my entire kitchen and dining room, and the washing machine. These are not easy fuzzies to clean either, they are so light they fly everywhere so you’re inhaling them, and when you sweep them the air from the broom pushing them away. They are in my plants, covering my area rug. It’s AWFUL. There was no warning of this at all. And I’m not even sure what to do with the thing now, because I’m so afraid of the fuzzies!!! What crap.

I ordered three different falsa blanket at different price points. This was the most expensive one, and by far the highest quality. Compared to the other blankets, this is better-made, more tightly woven, tighter edging, heavier. All blankets will provide padding. But this one will clearly stand up to washing much better, and will actually provide warmth. The other blankets are like cheap loose sweaters that look warm, but actually are not.Weirdly, the cheapest blanket was a better quality than the mid-range. But in the case of this blanket, you do get what to pay for.

This blanket is not a traditional Mexican blanket. The blanket will not keep you warm when camping in cold climates. The quality of this blanket compared to the price IS SH.. in my opinion. I've other Mexican blankets that are true, this one just doesn't measure up. My advice, if you're are buying this for high altitude or winter camping maybe 2 might work other wise don't bother.

This is a legit falsa, for a good price. Confirming this blanket is heavier than other falsas I bought online. People who say it is not heavy may have a different definition of heavy. They are probably looking for extra heavy. It is a real, standard thickness falsa. I’m looking forward to washing it so that it gets softer. It is the same thickness I associate with other good falsas I have owned. It is also A sturdy weave. Not a cheap lightweight falsa that is overpriced, like what has been flooding the amazon market lately. But just be advised that it’s not heavy in the sense of super duper thick. It’s just a good solid falsa. The weave and the colors really have a pretty contrast. One note is the tassels are not very substantial—- a bit thin and short. I am used to full tassels, but I’m not too worried about that for my uses. I’m just glad I can finally stop returning crummy falsas. :)

I really like the looks of this blanket but I do have 2 complaints ,it has an odor and the fuzzy's that it sheds . I was wearing a black cotton shirt when I opened my order and was covered with fuzz so I laundered the blanket right away in hopes of removing the fuzz and odor , the lint basket was full after drying it in the dryer but it seemed to have helped . I took the blanket outside to shake it off and now it is hanging in the sun . I would like to order the large one for my couch but am a little hesitant as to if I want to go through this process again

I have purchased 4-5 of these collectively for myself and/or friends as gifts. It's a great little size (note the dimensions before purchasing because I thought it was going to be bigger at first). I purchased the teal and beige every time. My oldest one looks like the day I got it and it's about three years old. Perfect blanket and perfect price!

I received a beautiful blue/grey/white blanket. It washed well & is very soft....great for yoga or just snuggling! The only problem is that there were several large "loops", but I cut the loop & tied it & that seemed to work well-- didn't make any holes & didn't affect the use of the blanket. Even with this small defect, I will probably get another one.
