You get what you pay for. Beware!
Time will tell with this kit. I don't think it is of particularly good quality at all. When the sales page itself has been put together with so little care and so many typos and liberal use of Photoshop, you have to wonder about how the product can be any good at all. The scissors are also not as pictured on the listing, no notch in the scissors.The scissors both feel very cheaply and shoddily made and are badly aligned. The rubber bit designed to make the scissors quieter bleeds black sludge on your fingers. The finger inserts are not rubber, they are stiff plastic. The finish inside the blades looks tarnished. I am not expecting them to last. Lessons learned. Stick with quality scissors!Returning this lot to Amazon. They're just too shoddy.January 2021 - received an email from the seller, offering me money to remove my review. Reported to Amazon.February 2021 - They emailed me yet again (TWICE) begging to bribe me to remove my review. No, I won't and I have reported to Amazon, yet again. AVOID!

Great scissors including thinning scissors plus a zip case to store it all!
With the covid19 lockdown upon us, I need a hair cut but even if hairdressers were open I wouldn’t be breaking isolation for such a luxury item.Luckily for me my partner is a very inexperienced (used to cut family members hair when growing up) but competent at cutting hair.I have clippers but lacked decent scissors and thinning scissors which I need as the hair on crown gets very thick.Good prompt delivery.Good zip case to keep everything in and zip and stitching is pretty good so this case is a bonus!You get two combs and one is long handle that I’ve seen hair dressers use but given our requirements the basic comb will suffice.You get a gown to stop hair from sticking to your clothes which is great because we are going to cut my hair in the garden to avoid cleanup so we’ll just shake it off.You get a couple of extras that I won’t need like hair grips/clips.This really in a complete hair cutting kit and it’s more than enough for our current lockdown need.We bought primarily for the normal and thinning scissors that function as expected so no complaints!

Excellent high quality set of hairdressing products that come in a black zip up case to keep them safe when not in use. There are 2 pars of sharp scissors, one is good for cutting the hair and the other is used for thinning hair out into layered hair styles. They have good sized handles that are lined with rubber so easy to hold and wont make your hands hurt when u are using for a long time. There is a gown to put around the shoulders to catch the cut hair so u dont get hair all over their clothes. And u get some clips to separate hair into sections, a brush to dust the little bits of hair off the neck of the person having their hair cut and 2 different hairdressing combs to help u create the style u want. They are great at this time while all salons and hairdressers are shut as u can use at home to give your family a decent looking trim even if u are not an expert with the scissors or would be good if u are a professional hairdresser looking for some new scissors to use for your work.

Lockdown haircut life saver
During this time where we cannot get to a hairdresser this kit is fantastic, my daughter has been nominated as chief hair dresser and this kit is perfect, , can’t see it staying in stock or at this price for long, the items inside are far better quality than the price suggests

Really good set with all you can need
Due to lockdown, I was in dire need of a haircut as my hair was just really long and unmanageable.I saw this set and opted for the black and blue one - and aesthetically it's really nice. Very sleek looking and all coordinated well. The set has a rat tail comb, a normal comb with smaller teeth graduating to bigger ones, two clips, cutting shears and thinning shears and a gown to put over yourself / someone else much like they do in Salons.It's all in a nice, neat leather case (except the gown which is just wrapped around it for now - I haven't tried to fit it in yet) and I did my own hair last night and it went really well. I am by no means a hairdresser but with a couple of tutorials and some thoughtful application - I have freshly cut, layered hair with a nice side fringe all thanks to this set!The shears are sharp and comfy to hold and if I managed to cut my own hair well then I'm sure it'll be even easier to do someone elses with them.Again - I'm by no means a hairdresser but I highly recommend this set - all you can need for a haircut and looks good too!

Good purchase
The quality of the product isn't great, the scissors are quite heavy and the combs aren't a great feeling plastic (hard to describe). That said, i am not dissapointed as the price was cheap. They have definitely done the job too!

Nothing more than cheap
I am not sure that I received the scissors everyone else is reviewing, but my experience of the scissors was awful!Usually, I would use a clipper to cut my partners hair, but decided to do a scissor over come this time. I saw the reviews for this little pack and ordered based on these:Well, I certainly got what I paid for, scissors that seems blunt even the feather scissors were not much better. Along with the comb that bent (the non pack com).If you want the hack at the hair, these are the scissors for you, if you want precision (reducing heaviness, around the ears and nape of the neck). These are not!They are exactly what you would expect for the price very cheap, hack the hair scissors. I resorted back to the clippers and have ordered a professional pair of scissors!
