They sound great

These speakers are very clear and very loud. I have seen many reviews mention the bass was not that deep. IMO the bass gets very deep and the sound clarity of the highs are clear enough, the bass doesn't over power them. I have 4 of these 6x9's in my jeep and they definitely sound wonderful. Without an amp they are perfect for anyone trying to play there music LOUD and still have a great sound, if you are looking for optimal sound it would be best to strap a 4 channel amp to them and have a more defined sounding speaker. For those that say the speakers sound like crap, chances are they weren't properly installed or you may need to add some sound dampening in your door panels to reduce distortion from the speaker. Pioneer speaks for itself across the planet they are a good company that manufacture some great products, and believe me I'm not the only person who thinks that. You won't go wrong with buying these speakers and you probably WILL NOT, find a better speaker in this price range by one of the most reputable companies when you decide to go vehicle audio shopping. Do not let the negative reviews deter you, if you do..... Take a look at how many positive reviews there are, and that's my 2 cents.

It took me a little while to find the right speakers. These speakers fit in my 2018 ram 2500 tradesman. I needed a shallow speakers and these are perfect. I had a max depth of 2 3/4 and that's the perfect size for my truck. These are so much crisper and clearer than stock. These sound darn good!!

I installed these in a 2003 Dodge Stratus in the front door panels. They fit but were a little tight on the edges. I used wire harnesses to connect them to the factory harness so I did no splicing within the wires. I would say they are a big improvement compared to my factory speakers. They are the only aftermarket speakers installed in the car right now and they definetly increase the clearity at higher volumes. Its not by much when turning it up on the stereo but the mids and highs are much more clear. Im still breaking them in but they seem to have some decent amount of bass. With a good equalizer and reasonable audio configuration and volume, i was able to make my mirror and bobble head figure shake and rattle. There is not a subwoofer installed right now also. Overall these speakers are worth the money for a beginners set up and improvement to your factory system. I also highly reccomend buying factory speaker harnesses for your specifed car! It makes things much more convenient.

The bass is deep and tight with correct mounting and enclosure. Mids, vocals and treble are clear and precise never feeling lacking in clarity or becoming overly bright. Highly recommended for those looking for something to be powered by a high output (40watt RMS or more DO NOT GO BY MAX Output) head unit.

I replaced a 22 year old stock 5-1/4" rear speakers with these. Since the stock speakers have been none working practically with a blown baffle cone, these speakers work great after I install them in the stock location but with a 6x9 adapter. For the price, these sounds just fine. Can you get better sound than these speakers, sure, but it will cost you more. I wasn't too keened on putting a bunch of money for my son's 22-year old BMW. The speaker grills were bit too overwhelming so I just stick to the stock grill.

I purchased these for my husband after his stock speakers gave out. They sound great and he said they were easy to install, it took him less than an hour to put the new speakers in.

The sound quality is very crisp, but don’t expect much bass from these 6x9s. Very small magnet and shallow mounting is good for an area that is tight. Not very impressed
