Ok, for the value

The product worked as intended and it was easy enough to install. The only downside was that the cable diameter was smaller than the original. I'm not sure if it will hold up the exact same as the OEM.

Liked the way they mounted

Easy to replace if you have right tools, took me about fifteen minutes.

Took 5 minutes to do both sides. $10 for the pair and arrived in one day. Use a T 45 torx and pop on the new ones. Junk yard wanted $6 for a rusty pair with the cover worn.

Perfect fit on my 04 ranger XLT, it was a very simple install just 2 star bit bolts on both sides, there’s really not much to say they’re exactly the same as the ones that came on the truck except they move easier and ones not broken in half

The cables when installed on a gen3 ranger are a tiny bit shorter than OEM causing the tailgate to be slightly angled up when it is dropped open. The ends are stamped in a thinner steel than OEM. Is this a dealbreaker most likely not considering OEM cables go for about $30 each cable.

Fine, as long as you don’t plan to use your tailgate. Broke quite easily is a relative short period of time.

Cables are too short. Cant open tailgate fully.Bummer
