This is a well made, strong pole, comes with a sleeve that ensures it can be removed. Easy to instal, follow the clear instructions. This is also an excellent length. The delivery was also very easily tracked and arrived on the first date we were given. Can really recommend this item and the company who manufactures it.

The problem was that l had no facilities to locate both ends of a washing line in my garden. Therefore two poles concreted into the ground was the only answer.I searched for 10 foot long steel poles with ground spikes or holding tubes and pulleys and chose on price and delivery. They arrived early and l was impressed with the quality. The standard of galvanising was good and the welding of the line pulley and tie-off fixtures was excellent.The only issue l had was with the pulley wheels having a larger radius groove to hold my standard plastic coated washing line. When not loaded with washing it tended to allow the line to ride over and out of the groove and wedge between the pulley wheel and the side of it’s casing. However this is only a minor issue which can easily be coped with.Very pleased with the product, it’s quality and price and happy to recommend this item to any prospective buyer.Dave H

As good as a scaffold pole. I've had the cheaper 2 piece clothes post before but they have bent under the weight of the washing and corroded very quickly. We'll pleased with this, worth spending the extra money.

Easy to install and does all that you would want from a washing line

It seems ok. But just in a few months the bases are full of rust

We are very pleased with this purchase as it appears strong and fit for purpose.Our only gripe would be with Tuffnells the delivery people who didn't turn up on the day when they said they would. We only received notification 30 minutes before the time frame had ended having stayed in all day waiting for them. They didn't let us know when they would deliver, but once it arrived we were satisfied with the line post
