We found that a lot of hot rod Fits Mustang II cross members utilize mount spacing for Fits Mustang II rack and pinions that mount via a center to center measurement of 16". Most aftermarket Fits Mustang II rack and pinions are manufactured for a 15.5" center to center mount. This bushing set allows you to install an aftermarket Fits Mustang II style rack and pinion assembly on nearly any of the many Fits Mustang II style cross members found in the hot rod world today.
