Works. I love it, and it cleans up easily. I'm buying a second one for my RV.
This is one of those products that really works. I've been able to produce beautifully poached eggs with a runny yolk, just as I like it. The instructions are easy and you should follow them explicitly. Put 1/2 teaspoon water in each cup, break in the egg, pierce the yolks and whites with a toothpick, center the yolk, put another 1/2 tsp water on top. You can add a teaspoon of butter on top of the eggs if you want more of a shirred result. The cooking time will vary depending on your microwave and how done you like your eggs. For my set but runny ones, it takes 90 seconds for 2 eggs.

I bought it to prepare frozen breakfast sandwiches a little more efficiently - cooking 4 eggs at once is helpful - and it works
Seems to work well enough! I bought it to prepare frozen breakfast sandwiches a little more efficiently - cooking 4 eggs at once is helpful - and it works great for that. I haven't poached the eggs, just slipped them into the holes and cooked in the microwave until set. The egg rounds come out a little "taller" than my previous microwave egg cooker, but that is not a deal breaker.

Makes GREAT poached eggs quickly
A must have item for the fan of poached eggs. No muss, no fuss. Perfect poached eggs in less than two minutes. The only trick is to determine how long you want the eggs to cook to your satisfaction. The directions say. "2 minutes for 4 eggs on medium high." I found that a little too long. But play with the time and you will have perfect poached eggs before you go through a dozen eggs

Not all good ideas work.
Good idea, but incredibly messy to use. I would not recommend this, or any other egg poacher without deep cavities that will not "run over" while poaching. The open holes built into this poacher, just make it that much messier to use. I have switched to glass ramekins, and they work great and are easy to clean.

"A" for effort, but...
I wanted to like this thing since it uses little water and does 4 at a time. But it turned out that putting water under and over the eggs, pricking them and getting the finicky time just right is a little more trouble than it's worth for me. And eventually I needed some no-stick.Someone suggested this simple microwave method for poached eggs which works great and I use it all the time now:Measure 1/2 cup of water into a curved (cereal) bowl so that the egg will be slightly covered when added. No need to prick it because the water buffers the egg and makes it less sensitive to timing. For a 1200W microwave, cook it for 50 seconds. THAT'S IT. Fast, consistent and easy cleanup. I came up with 1 min 15 sec for 2 eggs in 2 bowls. Perfect every time! Have your toast ready because the eggs will keep cooking in the water.

Easy to clean!
I'm very pleased with this product it is exactly as advertised, easy to use and easy to clean. The eggs done in the microwave taste just the same as the ones done on the stove but it is much faster and easier. I recommend this product

Never Achieved Solid Whites No Matter What Setting We Tried
My husband and I tried this several times at different temps and times and each time the whites were runny and seriously gross. Every time the yolk was hard ... really frustrating. We really gave it a good shot ... trying it so many different ways ... we thought we would hit on the right combo but never did and got tired of trying. It is easy to use and easy to clean, but we'll stick to poaching eggs in a skillet so we can get the whites cooked.

Perfect eggs really quick!
I bought this to bring to work to cook my eggs in the microwave. They come out perfect! I love being able to choose how well done I want them, and they really do poach a good egg. You have to tweak it here and there with how much water to put in and how long to cook it until you figure out what works best for your taste. Definitely recommend!

if I cook them on 75% like it says
very hit and miss, if I cook them on 75% like it says, it is far too sort and watery, but if I cook them at 100% then they are too hard and rubbery, so you have to guess and experiment, and quite frankly waste far too many eggs before you get it right, not worth the agro to be honest
