I used these mounts to mount a Hi-Jack to my Yakima cargo basket. I like how it comes with 3 sets of different sized u-bolts to fit different tub sizes. Worked perfectly. I was worried that it wouldn’t get tight enough because the width is probably 3 inches but the shape of the bolts and the shape of the mounts allowed it to grip in a way that you don’t have to worry about it turning or moving on road.

My 2011 Jeep (with hard-top) is pretty much parked outside year round, so I wanted something to keep the hi-lift jack out of the weather and avoid rusting, which these jacks are prone to do.Some tips when installing:1) position clamps and tighten enough just to hold in place and position jack to clamps2) if you have a hard time fitting your jack due to the base plate (as I did), remove it from the jack3) after confirming fitting, cut any necessary foam out of the way for a snug fit, then tighten everything down4) attach base plate to jack through on of the holes in the I-beam (see picture)I made the mistake of cutting foam before confirming fitting and needed to reposition clamps, which lead to more cutting of foam. Hopefully the tips above will help others avoid un-necessary foam cutting. Can't speak to durability of the clamps yet, but so far they seem sturdy enough. Have not noticed and rattling or squeaking.I was concerned about the jack impeding my rear view, but when sitting in the drivers seat, I don't see the jack at all. The only downside I can see about mounting my hi-lift jack this way, is the inconvenience of unloading any cargo to make enough to get to the jack and wrangle it off and out. However, considering I've had to use my winch more often than my jack, I'm willing to live with the inconvenience.

Very durable way to install your jack. One item that they should include is screws to attach directly to a flat surface but something you can definitely buy at any hardware store. Definitely recommend!!

These work great. When I ordered them, I thought my gracious $50 just to hold a jack. They are lightweight, but heavy duty if that makes sense. They come with 3 different 'u' clamp sizes for multiple roll bar sizes. If you're going to use a farm type jack on your Jeep or UTV, you won't be sorry getting these.

I bought these mounts to put my jack inside the rear area of my 1990 Jeep YJ. The mounts fit perfectly onto the roll bar. The width of the roll bars was about six inches shorter than I needed for my jack - a hi-lift jack I purchased at Harbor Freight - to fit. I had to build an adapter to bolt permanently onto the jack that gave me the reach to the mount. It's mounted now and working great - and at a SIGNIFICANTLY lower price than what you find from the Jeep mail order companies. So - just be prepared to create a rig/jig/extension if you are mounting a Harbor Freight jack.

Great value and looks good so far. I suggest using flat washers between the jack and the lock washers for the knobs to protect the paint on the jack from chipping. I also used gorilla tape for a spacer between the upright bolt and the holes in the jack to prevent the paint on the jack from chipping as well.

Used to add a hi-lift as part of the recovery gear on the Xterra. Mounted to the factory roof rack bars (2.25in). No movement (took the xterra to a Trail two days after installing the hi-lift jack using these).Update 20230916 - no issues after a couple of months, trail driving included.

Quick mostly painless installation on my 2011 jeep JKU rear bar. I had to remove some foam from inside the bar cover to get it to fit properly. The jack is solid and I hardly notice it's there because it's up out of the way. It only takes a minute to unscrew from the mount and remove.
