AMHDEAL LCD Display & Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly Replacement for Apple iPhone 5S (White)

Not entirely a replica of an iPhone 5S digitizer. I was able to replace my iPhone's screen, but the digitizer seems to want to stick out close to the earpiece, and there is a place for screwing in the finger print reader that is out of place, which makes it a tad harder to tap the home button. Other than that, everything still works great!

Well packaged, looks great. For anyone that's buying this it's important to understand that it does NOT come with the ear speaker or front facing camera. You will need to remove that from the LCD you're replacing or (in my case) find a new/separate ear speaker/front facing camera to install along with this.There isn't much that comes with this as far as directions (aside from the tip to fold the ribbon cable in the proper location to avoid complications) but there are plenty of youtube videos to help you in that arena.If you watch any repair videos, you'll notice that there are three ribbon cables attached to the LCD assembly. This only has two - the missing one is for the ear speaker and front facing camera. You'll need to watch a separate vid to find how to replace that.

Wish I had read the comments before purchasing this item, worked well enough for the first five days after installation. But the day I choose to play a game the screen starting flipping out, started getting colored vertical lines and screen flashing on and off then it wouldn't come on at all just back-light that was disappointing. I am an Apple certified Technician fixing Apple products is what I am trained to do, and from my experience with this replacement screen I will never purchase it again.

The screen almost seems to big for the iphone body and the glass is fragile. Upon snapping it into place, as I have with countless other screens with no issue, the glass cracked starting in the top right corner and spreading across to the left side. However, it works very well and the touch screen is flawless, producing a clear image with no cons. I just wish they were sturdier and a better fit.

Arrived quickly, worked as intended. Build quality seems perfectly fine. Does not include front-view camera, proximity sensor, or earpiece, but that was as expected. You need to move those pieces over from the phone you're fixing.Update: screen died two days later. Initiated return and ordered another screen. Will update once the replacement arrives and it's been working for a few weeks.Update from 1/7/15 - another screen arrived very quickly from seller "select us" (clever name) - installed without issue, HOWEVER, the little white plastic ring that surrounds the perimeter of the screen and provides a seal between the glass and the aluminum frame separated from the glass upon installation. Was able to get it back on but the build quality from this seller is suspect.

I fixed my iPhone myself following a YouTube video and using these products. Products worked perfectly. I also used a repair kit which made it easy for a first time repairer

Just as described and worked good. Face of the screen seems to fit a tad big but nothing that seems to be an issue.

This is the 5th screen I replaced (yes, for the one particular same phone!!), and I found it's by far the best replacement screen I can find on Amazon, even compared to the more expensive ones. The other four screens I replaced, all of them had cooler color temperature than the original one, and all screen panels were not glued to the frame properly, so I found the screen popped up just right after installation.For this one, it is EXCELLENT! It has the same color temperature as the original, and the screen and frame were perfectly glued. It is snug and tight after installation, given the phone a solid feel rather than loosen and crapy like it was with other screens.
