Just point the remote and Awesome. I order two packs and any remote works for both. I don't think it matters how many lights you have the remote works for all. The remote goes like 2 feet so Have to point it at (front) map light and point it at dome (back) lights. I love it, leave car (light) switch to on, then turn off and on by remote. However if lights are turn off by remote then car on and off switch will not work, these lights work with car switch and or remote. Just peel paper off the back and these light could be placed anywhere. When these lights are adjusted all the way up by remote they are Super Bright kind of blinding to look at. (Led) is more of a white light. I have two lights up front and one by (Dome) or in middle and its a lot of light. You can choose any color or set it to change color rapidly like a night club. They are (2 in long and 1 3/4 in tall) so a square block with a sticky back. I have a problem with my map light so had to run a power wire from dome to map, so basically the positive is bridged together, works great. These lights are Bright, easy to install, and just a lot of Fun.

Terrible product. I do not understand how this item has as many positive reviews as it does. The connections coming off the board make it very hard to mount anywhere, after being on for about 2 minutes you can smell the board starting to melt and burn the adhesive backing. After running for about 5 minutes the board got hot enough to start melting its own solder joints, this in turn caused multiple diodes to fail at random.I bought these to use as lights on and around my work bench however they are too unstable and unreliable, they are a fire hazard.These lights are marketed for use as dome lights in your car, now I dont even feel comfortable using these in the garage let alone in my car. Using this product in your car is asking for trouble. These lights melted themselves into oblivion in an open space with nothing around them, putting these in your dome lights or courtesy lights is a terrible idea and very dangerous. I would never recommend this product to anyone for any reason.

These LED panels were installed into a '99 Chevrolet Astro van and fit into the interior domes well. I was able to place two in the rear lamp & one each in the center and front domes which are smaller due to the "eyeball" map lights mounted next to them. These lights are a Blue White light that probably is somewhere near a 5000K Kelvin Color Scale light. For some this may not be a pleasant color but it does give good light quality in the dark for me personally. They come with 3 different adapters the Festoon is the one I utilized. I felt the Festoon was a bit short as it just bridged the clips. Aside from this the item worked as required.

I purchased these to use with a homemade light for my tool cart at work. (I put two in a small project box and attached a 27 inch GoPro gooseneck arm with a clamp on one end.) These 12 volt lights are designed to replace a dome light bulb in your car and are very bright. They come with multiple connectors to plug right into your existing car wiring. The also have adhesive on the back side to stick in the dome light housing. As I mentioned, they are very bright but they do get hot. I wouldn't recommend leaving it on for an extended period of time, say 30 minutes or more.

They are very bright but less than a month have several led lights that don’t work any more still a good buy they are still bright even with a few not working.

Holy bright! I plugged it in in my console to test it out to see if it'd be bright enough and wow, it is extremely bright! I can't wait to get the rest of the dash together to see how bright it is with a cover. I will definitely be buying more of these for other plugs. The universal plugs are awesome and work great to make it easy to plug and play into a variety of plugs.I'd recommend these to anyone.

No good! Within one day lights were flickering on and off and some of them started smoking. Not one good light in the bunch. Took them out and threw them away before they started a fire.

Used this product to convert 12v light fixtures on boat in order to reduce amp draw. They seem to provide more light than the bulbs and the amp draw improved substantially. They do give off a bluish/white light compared to the soft yellow glow of an incandescent. Easy to install but the rounded reflector in the fixture required additional adhesive to adhere. (in my case epoxy). I bought additional units for the cabin and I would recommend them to a friend.

Very bright LED's, only thing that lets it down is cheap connectors. Originally was about to return because it wasnt lighting up properly and kept flickering, but it was the metal pins on the wedge connection had be adjusted. Once the connection was fixed the light is impressive

Some of the leds have stopped working after about a month and some more are flickering on and off.

I picked these up for power failure lights. This is a normal power failure light with one light external in a normal flushmount fixture.Unfortunately 2 of them has some defects with some LEDS on the boards. The seller was very helpful to get things sorted.They are bright led boards.My measurement of current was higher than the rating, but that is where the extra light comes in.The boards do run warm. Time will tell how these hold up, but for power failure lights they will not have too much use and a lower 12.2 volts measured at the fixture under load. They are also stuck to a metal fixture so they will loose some heat even with the tape in between.I was going to place 2 into the fixture, but I will test with one.

This is definitely worth to upgrade in any vehicle.These LED light boards take little current to produce an extremely super bright white light as if it's daylight seeping through all your windows on an extremely sunny day. Well worth this price.There are for more expensive LED lights from the like of Sylvania and Philips, etc. that come no where near close to the quality or brightness of these.I've replaced every interior light in my vehicle with these and I'm extremely satisfied with this upgrade from my stock linterior lights.
