I have another one of the 2.5gram variety for loose leaf tea, and this one has the same outstanding build quality, only way for it to be better, would be if the whole spoon was drop forged

I love making various Matcha drinks but usually use a traditional bamboo chasaku, while it looks lovely I don't think its as accurate as a scoop like this for me, probably because I have shaky hands and may lose a bit off the sides!I checked this spoon on my scales after removing the weight of the spoon and its perfect!Feels nice and solid, washes and polishes dry well, all round a lovely and most importantly accurate tool for making the perfect Matcha!!

Nicely presented measuring spoon - the scoop has a nice shape to it, and if you're trying to get half-measures of macha the small volume of it is going to be appropriate.Most guidelines suggest 2g of macha per cup, which means two scoops with this spoon per serving. This is workable, but not ideal.Manufacturing looks nice, but the scoop is welded onto the handle rather than part of the casting. Not a major issue, as the welding seems of an appropriate quality - but does introduce a weakpoint. That weakpoint would require a fairly major accident to break it, so unlikely to be an issue with careful use.

This spoon does indeed measure 1g but you need to ensure you pack and level your matcha. Can't complain as it's nice and heavy, definitely stainless and looks good.

Perfect little spoon for any matcha enthusiast. It’s super satisfying to have the perfect measurement every time! The metal feels decently strong and it doesn’t feel flimsy at all. It’s also easy to wash, with no annoying ridges where the powder gets stuck unlike others I’ve had.Overall would recommend. Solid little spoon for matcha and would make a great gift for a matcha fan.

This spoon has a quality feel about it, it has a good weight to it and is nicely finished. It is quite small overall. The bowl of the spoon is deep and easy to fill and is a 1g measure. The one thing which is not clear is should it be filled and levelled off or heaped? The photos in the description shows it heaped, But if you want accuracy it would be more consistent to level it, it would be nice to know how it was intended to be used. Ultimately I guess this depends on personal taste anyway.At £4.99 is it worth it again this depends on how accurately you need it to be?

Very nice quality matcha spoon, takes all the guessing game out of it. I weighed the amount of matcha from the spoon and it did end up 1g exactly so it is very accurate. The spoon is simple but functional, couldn't really have asked for more! I think the price is pretty in line with similar products, worth it if you have matcha regularly and want to measure accurately.
