SHARPIE34821PP Professional Chisel Tip Permanent Marker, Black, 2-Pack

If you're a nut like me - I write mobile apps and still prefer to put my to-do lists on a piece of paper - then you're going to like this marker. I use it to remove items from the list once completed. +++ Yes, you can tap and change the status of each to-do item using an app ... however, being able to "swipe" the marker right over an item just seems to feel better! And, you don't feel like you "must" have that phone with you 24/7. +++ The three elements I like about this product: 1) easy swiping (the chisel tip allows me to vary the height of the swipe), 2) the rubber grip on the sides (so it doesn't slip from my hands and damage my hands, my shirts, the paper the list it on, and/or the table top), and finally 3) the weight. +++ Good job, Sharpie.

Would give 5 stars except that what was shipped is not exactly what is pictured. I opened 1 package so far and the markers I tried work fine.

Good quality

This used to be my favorite marker. I went through quite a few of these babies, good times. Then I tried the Sharpie King Size, and I never looked back. I guess in a pinch I'd give the pro a go, but for me it's the king size.

This marker has a little plastic insert that the tip clicks into when you close it. On my first marker, the little insert pulled loose soon after I started using the marker. I had no luck gluing it back in. Without the little insert, the cap doesn't go on tightly and the tip dries out. In a triumph of hope over experience, I then bought a two-pack of the same marker. Why? Because if the little plastic insert stays in, the marker is terrific. It doesn't roll off the table; it can make fine lines or broad lines; it's easy to hold. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping my first marker was just a lemon. If it were not for the problem with the little insert, I'd give this marker five stars.

Did what is supposed to

I know I love these markers from previous use. I bought several at once because I knew I’d need them. However, I just opened two of them tonight and both are defective. The inside of the marker pulls completely free from the case. See the attached picture. So, that’s wasted money and I now have to go out at 10 pm to buy markers to pack moving boxes.
