Simple, Good Product
The Garmin NMEA 2000 T is very solid. I've used a lot of these and on each one the threads and connector are well constructured and work perfectly. I tried some cheaper Ts, but have always come back to this one.

Works perfect, and will work with lowrance HDS network for half the price, Note, if you do connect to a lowrance T these will be offset about 15 degrees. It only would matter if you are flush mounting the T's on a flat surface.

Be aware of the keying slot
NMEA T connectors have a slot/tab arrangement on the connectors to assure the pins are lined up properly. On this Garmin T the slot/tab is oriented about 45 degrees different from the Lowrance brand T. They still mate up and work but don't lie flat together. One or the other is going to stick up a little. Using the same brands is advisable if you are going to hook several T's together without a cable between them.

You get what you pay for
Originally purchased the ancor NEMA 2000 starter kit to connect my Garmin/Fusion-Link compatible equipment. The units did not recognize each other on the network. I returned the ancor and replaced with the Garmin and poof it work perfectly

All of this stuff is overpriced but
I needed it to complete my setup. Garmin 740s, Garmin 541s, Garmin GPS10 fuel sensor. I have the fishfinder transducer connected directly to the 541s which is networked via NMEA2000 network with the rest of the equipment. So the 541s is capable of doing everything; fishfinder; chartplotter/gps, fuel management; and the 740s installed in the network is capable of Chartplotter/gps; showing the depth not fishfinder; and fuel consumption. Shipping was fast.

This connector worked perfectly with my Lowrance nmea 2000 cables and connectors. He garmin connector did not have any offset when attached to the Lowrance connectors.
