This is a great story with beautiful art! There is high level humor for the adults and cute animal interactions for the young ones! Old Kindergarteners enjoy this book the best. Be sure to discuss the concept of a reflection! Have fun with this one

This is a fun book and easy to memorize. The character shows to never give up. I read this to my son when he was little and he loved it. Bought this copy for my new cousin.

My 2 year old is very into the moon these days so we purchased this for his birthday along with Uncle Milton"s Moon in my Room. He loves us to read it to him before bedtime while looking up at the "real" moon on the wall. It's a sweet story about a little mole who sees the moon and tries to capture it because it's so beautiful.

Sweet bedtime story book. Simple but interesting story with a nice message at the end. The illustrations are wonderfully done. This isn't easy as the story takes place at night. But there's just enough moonlight to provide color and charm to the illustrations. Young readers will surely enjoy.

It's book is amazing! Drawings are exceptional, funny, cute , and realistic! The plot of this cute little story is nice and clear! My son loves it! If your kid curios about moon then this book is a buy! Love love love it!!!!!

This is a good book. The illustrations are great and the book has a good story. The book is very durable for the little ones that want to turn the pages.

My 3 year old fell in love with this book at our library months ago. It has cute pictures and a sweet, easily understood story line.

"Bringing down the moon" is the first in the series and is a lovely gentle story about a little mole who is fascinated by the beautiful moon. It tells the story of his attempts to bring it down and the animals he meets along the way. The images are detailed and provide good contrast to the lyrical text. This book calls out to be read aloud, something that I've done in our story time sessions in the library and its always a favourite. But then again it is just magical and gives you great scope to add a craft to the session.

El libro me ha llegado sin CD y con la portada dañada. Lo he tenido que devolver y es una pena, porque la historia y las ilustraciones son preciosas.

I have refreshed my 2 year olds book case recently to keep her away from the tv. in the latest delivery this arrived with 2 hairy mclary stories and tales from acorn wood. well, the others didn't get a look in. the drawings are beautiful and my daughter seemed to have an instant affinity with mole gazing at the beautiful moon in the indigo night sky.from other reviews I initially thought it might be too old, but I was wrong....and I wouldn't say she is advanced. the language is quite plain. some other books rhyme unusual or old fashioned words and she seems to enjoy the more practical and realistic book. her enthusiasm for this was lovely to see, immediately she was shouting mole and moon, and cried when I moved it off the bed for her nap. a wonderful hit and I love it too to boot!

なんといっても絵がかわいいの。モグラもウサギもハリネズミもリスもみんなつぶらな目でね。お友達っていいね〜って思える本です。モグラの手ってあんなにたくましかったのね。いつもお月様だけかわらずお空で見ています。
