"Amazon's Choice" for markers shouldn't be your choice...
I chose the Expo brand because it has a reputation for quality and I have had success and longevity with their products in the past. To my great disappointment, these markers exhibited the signature Expo quality and vibrancy for the first 5 words I wrote, and then, one by one, they grew fainter and are now virtually transparent on my white board. The caps were on tightly, so there shouldn't be a reason for their poor performance other than a faulty or perhaps very old product. The pink, burgundy, and red are now virtually indistinguishable from each other, and nearly all the other colors are so faint they are barely visible. Of the entire 12-pack, only the brown marker still works...This could just be a bad set, but $7.99 is a lot of money to spend for markers that die after a few moments of use.Unless the company can offer a quality replacement product, I would not recommend these markers to anyone, and I would greatly appreciate hearing from the company to know why their product was so poor and whether they will make amends. I'm hoping their customer service is better than their product!

Not bright or vibrant
I ordered these because I wanted some new colors to go with the ones I already had for our calender. These are the same brand and size as the ones I've had for a year but the colors are so much lighter on the new ones. I can barely see some of the colors. They write fine and are not dried out, they just are not as bright and vibrant as the previous set I already have. I used the same pressure to write with both sets for the picture I added. I would not purchase these again.

when they arrived they seemed the normal great quality that I've always seen with expo products
I bought this box of 36 expo markers for my classroom, when they arrived they seemed the normal great quality that I've always seen with expo products. I stored the extra ones with the points down to preserve the ink. But 2 months later they were completely dried up without ever having been used.

If You're Looking for Markers that Actually Work, You Might Want to Look Elsewhere
I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but ALL of the colors write extremely faint (as in, you can't even see most of them on the board). They don't seem to be dried out, but the ink simply doesn't show up. I've tried them on multiple dry erase surfaces just to be sure that my original board wasn't the issue, and it's the same on them all. This product has been completely useless to me, and I'm very disappointed that I spent any amount of money on them. What a shame.

Markers are dried out
Expo 2 Low-Odor Dry Erase Markers, Fine Point, Assorted Colors, 12-Count My pack was really bad, I guess the markers dried out. It's super light so when I sit at my desk it does not stand out. I saw some of the other reviews and loved the colors but this just didn't work out for me. For the picture I had to go over the colors a couple of times in order for you to see it. I'm definitely buying another pack because I want the markers, but not ordering from Amazon.

Watercolor Shades (Not true to their colors)
I use these dry erase expo markers as they work well with my Wallpops sticker whiteboard. They erase cleanly with just a dry eraser leaving no residue marks on the board even if they're left there for days which is why I love these markers! (It probably has to do with the sticker whiteboard as well) I haven't tried other brands though, but I heard that some don't erase well.In terms of these markers themselves, just like the other reviews, I'll say that they're not true to color (if compared to their respective caps). The difference in shades are a lot. I already own the three chisel dry erase expo markers before and the green and blue are both very true to their color. The pink chisel one however is very off from its respective cap. Therefore, when I got these expo fine markers, I was happy that the pink on that one matches the color of its cap. If the chisel pink and the fine pink are compared, the difference in shades are obviously great even though the color of their caps are the same. (It's not that my chisel one is running out of ink either as I barely use them). However as for the rest of the fine markets, all have lighter shades than expected especially the green and brown. It's more of a sea green and tan shade.Nevertheless, I'll keep them cause I need them, but just know that the shades are not true to their color. The chisel ones I previously owned are more crisp and opaque in color except the pink I guess. These fine ones however are more translucent, showing shades similar to what a watercolor paint does.

Good markers. Not really "Fine Point" at all; just medium point.
