Playboy Ranger dates the client
I'd rate this 3.5 stars as it was a fresh idea; an unbelievable one, but I was liked that the authors took a risk none the less. Parker and his two best friends and former Rangers have left the Army and set up their own company, DreamMakers. Basically, they help unromantic and clueless men set up perfect romantic dates, etc. for their significant others.. They're alpha men who are comfortable with romance while also being playboys themselves. Sounds over the top? That's probably because it is but as I said above, I appreciated that the authors took a different spin on a romance. While setting up a perfect proposal date for a douchebag of a client, Phil, Parker meets Lynn, the client's kind-of girlfriend. I say kind of because they only seemed to be casually dating so a possible proposal was weird. As Phil knows next to nothing about Lynn, the DreamMakers team arrange their own bit of recon to learn her likes and dislikes. Parker and Lynn are attracted to each other and when the latter finds out that her occasional partner is sleeping around, she throws caution to the wind and hooks up with Parker...and one of his partners. I'm throwing this out there because although it read well, I know it won't be for everyone. The book is pretty predictable with Parker keeping his role in how he met Lynn a secret until she gets to know him. Some of the chapters were told from various other characters' points of view which I found really strange because their bits didn't really have that much to do with the overall story so while they added a different perspective and weren't a negative, I did find it confusing that this was done. It was also pretty clear that the other partners were being set up for their own books in this series. That being said, the secondary characters were solid and I really liked the relationship between Lynn and her best friend Suz even though the authors made her the cliche of the sexually active and out there bff. There was a bit of humour throughout the book due to good dialogue. A stand out quote: "Holy moly, if I were a pioneer woman I would have washed my clothes on those abs, and I might not even have taken them off first." There's a couple of steamy scenes (including the previously mentioned threesome) and a little bit of jealousy and possessiveness from Parker. Just on this note, the authors make a point of randomly adding in that even though Lynn had been with Phil for months, they hadn't actually slept together. This is total bs because it was emphasised that Parker was a playboy that slept with anything that moved, but hey, it's not okay for girls to be sexual so we better make sure we add in there that even though Lynn and Phil had dated for a considerable amount of time, she's not that kind of girl. Blech. That is outdated, double standard trash that I find borderline demeaning to women. The story line with Lynn being in a relationship with Phil didn't really make sense, nor did the twist the story took. It came from nowhere, was added to create drama and a bit of angst, allowing Parker to use his military skills and gave the perpetrator an absolutely ridiculous motive that added little to the story. Oh, and this also included Lynn being an upstanding, fine woman of high morals. Blech again. And the resolution to this? Ridiculous again. I won't spoil it here but basically after there being a big drama, they get over it and the antagonist is let off.Three soldiers getting together to set up romantic dates for a living was a cute concept and if you're after an easy, light read and not fussed on it being particularly realistic, you should enjoy this. The book definitely relies heavily on cliches but if you can get past this, it was entertaining.

Fun, fabulous & just a little dirty!
Oh hello there! These ladies...totally had me in a swoon over All Fired Up. Fun, fabulous and just a little dirty. Exactly how I like it. *nods*Alright so the quick of it is that Parker and his boys have been hired by a total putz to help him set up the perfect date with his girlfriend. See. These three former Military men...they run a dating service of sorts where they orchestrate dream date for a guy's lady and help him woo her. Heh. And oh my word. Yeah I woulda swooned a little over these guys. This time though there's a little snag seeing as the guy raises their suspicions and the lady...totally snags Parker's attention while he's scoping her out to collect intel on what her dream date would be. Oops!I really liked both the hero and heroine. Parker's got a little of that sexy alpha male thing happening but has a very sweet side that's just as irresistible. And Lynn is a talented woman that's up for an adventure which was so dang nice to see. She's a little shy but she jumps in and powers through. The heat. Hot damn. Yeah the heat was there. These two--and in one scene three *yay* or as Lynn put it...double swords for the win!-- were scorching! The chemistry was lovely and oh I loved those naughty bits with the threesome right at the start. His buddy is a total trip. They totally left me fanning myself and ready for more. And chuckling too. I love when sex has a little humor mixed in. Anyways. long ass quote but I just loved this scene with Lynn was with both the guys. Oh and it's just a brief thing the menage. The romance as a whole and in the end is just Parker and Lynn. I really liked that even though they spent a good bit of time in bed they also really got to know each other and talked, went on fun dates and became friends. It covers a few months which surprised me. I didn't realize there were little time jumps happening until it was mentioned it'd been a couple months. I thought we were still in days/weeks. But that's okay. I liked they were given that time to get to know each other. All in all, All Fired Up was a sexy delight with charming characters, loads of heat and plenty of good times with a little suspense thrown into the background. It was just a real good time. I'm really looking forward to seeing how things turn out for the other guys and how their stories will unravel.

A high five for DreamMakers
I haven't read any books by Vivian Arend before but I have certainly read Ms Elle (threesome) Kennedy's works, so I looked forward to diving into this book.So ok, if you are going to get this book you will need to stretch your imagination a bit to believe that three ex army rangers decide to start a successful dating company. Successful enough to own a yacht (only in America people, only in America). But it's through this business, that Lynn and Parker meet. He's supposed to be arranging a date for Lynn and her boyfriend, except the boyfriend knows nothing about her. How can a dating company arrange a dream date with no information? Recon, that's how and it's during this mission that Parker meets and falls in lust with Lynn whilst doing hot yoga (once again, only in America people).Lynn falls in lust with Parker too, but her ex isn't too happy with being dumped. This leads to all sorts of shenanigans which includes being kidnapped and held hostage in a mansion.Alot of this story shakes the boundaries of plausibility but it's all done in good fun.Great little read. Enjoy peeps 😉

Gorgeous Ranger Army Men
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this story about the men of DreamMakers Inc. They are three best friends Parker , Dean and Jack, who were all Special Ops soldiers and started the company when they left the Rangers. They organise dates and events for men who don't know how to show their romantic side to their wives or girlfriends. This is the first in the series and is all about Parker Wilson, who has a huge reaction to the lady they have been contracted to plan a date for. The story moves quickly and is very sexy in places as all three men have a very dirty side to them as well as a great sense of humour. The lady involved is Lynn and her character evolves during the book, as she gains confidence and really shines under Parker. Her best friend Suz is hilarious and has some great banter, especially with Dean.We also get a little about Parkers sister Pepper , who appears in the next book. I am looking forward to reading the next two books in the series and finding out more about Dean and Jack.

Don't bother
A mess of a read. Parker owns a company with two his army mates. They make people's dreams come true(if you can believe it). Phil wants to romance Lynn. Along the story there is a threesome before Parker claims Lynn. How on earth can you let your mate have sex with the woman you want, didn't work.

Rating: 3.5*
Whilst most books that feature ex-military focus on them setting up in private security, this series focuses on a group of former military men who set up in business arranging perfect dates for couples. Not what you would usually expect and I'm still not sure if it works or not. I will say one thing and that is this contains pretty much everything it could, with various bedroom scenes, rescuing damsels in distress and a high heat level.
