The display doesn't like heat or sun.
It works alright, radio checks say it sounds good. The WX works surprisingly good, it picks up several WX stations in my vicinity. Make sure you mount it where the sun don't shine. I know how that sounds but really, the Sun makes the LCD screen fade out and segments go away but it recovers after it cools back down. I'm not sure if I would buy this again because I miss the SSB bands. But it's an alright inexpensive AM/WX radio. If you were wondering, the modulation and power settings are menu driven and there's nothing adjustable inside of it.

Absolute piece of JUNK DO NOT BUY it resets itself every time you turn it off you can't get the SWRs down and customer service will not respond to you

Spend a little more money and buy a better one.
Bought the Taylor because of the price and it is a good looking radio. How ever I wish I had spent a little more money and bought a better one. Reception and range a little disappointing with this one.
