I hesitated to buy a “used” music book but decided to try it. I am very pleased with the condition of the book: a few smudges on the covers but the pages on the inside are in very good shape, no markings or tears—perfectly useable.

This is a good selection of songs. Some of the songs are traditional, but many are more recent songs from musicals, TV and movies. I remember a lot of these songs from watching Sesame Street growing up. The accompaniment varies in difficulty. The book is hard to keep open on a music stand.

While this book contains songs quite appropriate for a children's songbook, it also contains some of the most challenging guitar chords I've ever attempted! While I'm not an expert player by any means, I haven't encountered any other book with as many obscure chords (e.g., when was the last time you played a Bb7#5?). The target audience appears to be more at the expert level--this is evidenced by well over half of the songs being in tough keys to play on the guitar (principally Bb, Eb, and F).If you're looking for a book for singing around the campfire with easily-recognizable guitar chords, try Rise Up Singing: The Group Singing Songbook (15th Anniversary Edition) instead--it has many of the same songs in easier keys.

I am having a great time singing this great variety of classic children's songs, and many more recent ones as well with my young granddaughter. Several Disney favorites, and overall great songs. I am by no means a good or even mediocre singer, but it's a wonderful, very fun bonding experience. I purchased this book because I found myself remembering only the first line or two of a song I wanted to share with my granddaughter.

I had this book as a kid and loved it. I bought this for my son who loves to sing (tone-deaf and screechy). We have had fun serenading my husband with the old classics, much to his dismay.

Didn't have the songs that we were looking for. I label it as useless.

I found several songs I could use for subbing in elementary and middle school music classes with my ukulele. A few old favorites were missing like London Bridge and The Farmer in the Dale.
