Graphics better than expected
I kept reading about how these aftermarket cameras had poor picture quality and was concerned about it before I purchased. .I went around and around about which brand to buy and thought about going with one of the more expensive ones - glad I didn't. The biggest surprise for me with this Red Wolf brand was the quality of the picture. We use the stock radio that comes with our 2014 JK Rubicon so I didn't have high expectations but I was pleasantly surprised after I installed it.There was only one downside to this purchase and that was the instructions, they need quite a bit more detail. Mia was the contact for questions and she was very helpful about explaining things. She did say that they will be getting better instructions soon. After going online and looking at videos for other back-up camera installations, it appears that most of them are pretty much the same if you are using the stock radio. Removing the radio was actually easier than splicing the wires in the back. Once I got the wires hooked up to a power source in the rear of the jeep, everything went pretty quick. Would recommend this product but look at online videos as well before you install.

Great camera and even better price. Everything you need is included
Super easy install on factory wrangler camera. Only bad side is the stock radio has terrible pixture quality which is not this cameras fault. Picture quality is as good as it can be.

Worth the time and money for this upgrade!
This was a JK install (automatic transmission) using the back-up tail light for camera power spliced inline at the passenger taillight assembly. I ordered extra wire loom because I'm a bit obsessive on cable/wire management and used it from the tailgate to where the video wire/power/ground wires split directions and inside the body turn signal cavity (encasing the slice) to the factory tail lamp plug. I used my own wire splice connectors rather than the supplied (speaker type) splice connectors which all fit neatly inside the wire loom. After running the video cable up the passenger side (under removeable trim panel components), then up and under the front dash in front of the glove box over and up/over to the center dash to come up behind the factory radio. There were two video plug adapters provided so you have a fifty-fifty shot (unless you know your radio car plug pin diagram). One other IMPORTANT piece of information that you could do in advance. Buy a Bluetooth ODB II adapter ($20) and download ODB Jscan to your smartphone. You will also need to pay ($20.99) to unlock for your Jeep VIN and register the vehicle... then enable back-up camera and this will immediately start displaying on the factory radio "Check entire surroundings" on the screen (with key on/in reverse) which will be blank until you get the proper plug/video feed installed from earlier steps. I hope this helps! God Bless!

Great Camera, Easy Installation
This product was super easy to install on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. You will need to have the backup camera functionality switched on which may require a visit to the dealership. However, i saved some money by buying the Vgate iCar Pro WiFi OBD2. After downloading the app, you can simply plug this into your Jeeps computer under the drivers side dash to the left. You can scan your system and troubleshoot and you can also make changes to your vehicles components. Simply find the radio and backup camera function and turn it on. I wired my camera to the reverse tail light so that when the Jeep is put in reverse the camera comes on and off when placed into drive. It was super easy and you will need minimal wiring skills. Good Luck!

Junk
Installed it, and directly after took the car to the carwash, and found the camera after the first carwash broken in two, on the joint between the lens and the back plate, obviously drenched in the process as well. Poor quality product in my opinion or at least the camera joint was not strong.

The camera is what you'd expect
Update: Seller contacted me after first 1 star review and sent me a replacement for the broken part on the condition I give a better review score. It is still the same quality and will not last, but the attention from the seller was 5 star. So to review:Seller: 5 starCamera: 3 starWiring: 3 starMounting: 1 starThe camera is the quality you would expect for an aftermarket camera at this price point. The instructions also fall into that category. What falls well below is the mounting bracket and the bracket for the camera. You have two tiny screws that go through a robust metal spare tire brake and the cheapest piece of plastic ever. I read some other reviews that also said this was garbage So I was careful with the spare tire not to touch it. Then while driving I must've hit a bump or speed bump or something because when I was trying to back out of a parking space later I noticed the camera was at a funky angle. I went to look at it and the bracket looked like the garbage plastic bracket on the camera exploded where the screws went in. The screw pockets are no longer useable. I'm currently holding it on with gorilla tape. Searching to find a more permanent solutions.

Not Suitable for Mounting on Spare Tire Carrier As the Kit Displays
Overall the kit is fairly complete but the camera is not really suitable for a vehicle with oversized off road tires. The simple reason is that when installed on the tire carrier and you put the spare back on, you will hit the camera. It is unavoidable. Given the camera has a plastic body held on by two very small screws, the screws immediately get stripped out of the camera body and the camera falls off the mounting bracket. In the pictures i have attached, you can see the size of the screws (excuse the dog hair) and the installation. One picture shows that I have. Installed one screw (glued back in), but the other screw was lost when it got knocked out. Otherwise, when installed, the camera picture is clear, the mounting bracket sturdy and the wiring kit is solid. The instructions leave much to be desired and if i had not installed a camera previously, i would have been lost.
