They absolutely do the job
These panels shut down the slap back and phase cancellation straight away in a very live 12x 15 room, speakers firing on long dimension--One on each sidewall and two behind the listening position

Cutting can be done with a jig saw.
Works well at quieting sounds.

Pretty good!
Works good, just now it doesn't work alone like any soundproofing solution. You still want Mass Loaded Vinyl over the top as well. The consistency is firm, think like a damp towel that was frozen. Fairly stiff but when enough pressure is applied it will give and won't go back the same. But more firm than you might expect, I was able to push on this and not deform or break it easily. I suggest if you need soundproofing, but just know it is an ingredient in the recipe for soundproofing.

Easy to cut and handle and great sound dampening
The Roxul panels were very easy to cut to size and easy to handle. There was just the right amount of rigidty to make them durable. We cut 45 degree angles on the edges to fit them into the corners of our church fellowship room. We covered them with fabric to match our walls and suspended them from the ceiling with 60 pound test nylon line. They look great and help absorb sound when there are large crowds in the room. The price was great compared to pre-made sound panels. Great product!

Good stuff for home theater... Ill probably wrap them in fabric.
I have a small home theater with an open floor plan. On my back wall, I stacked two sets of panels and used the window covering to hide them. You really don’t notice them unless you’re looking closely. At some point I may upgrade to something more finished, wrap them in fabric, or even move them upstairs behind a large dog crate—just experimenting for now. Bottom line: it made a big difference in my sound. I like the price but wish I should have just sprung for the finished panels. The thicker the panels, the lower the frequencies they absorb. Six inches would be even better if I had the space. In my setup, there’s a gap between the 4" panels and the window, and from what I understand, that gap effectively adds to the overall thickness. I'm hoping its enough to let the panels absorb frequencies down into the 60–80 Hz range. Either way, I have a better sound stage.

Excellent insulator, cuts great, easy to handle
Ships well, excellent insulator and cuts great. You need a long blade to go through but it is very easy to handle the rigid boards.
