Kompact Em Bov Plumb Back Vr2

Bought for my 2018 GLA45 AMG, I got the Plum Back version not the (Blow off valve) BOV version.The difference is plum is pretty much an upgraded stock divert valve with little to or no more noise then stock, the BOV is the old school whoosh you hear in movies with turbos.BOVs requires a little more labor but Turbosmart includes the parts if you choose that route, for certain vehicles that is.The Mercedes plastic divert valve is known an failure point on both the GLA 250 & 45.This won't make the car any faster but does remove any turbo shutter that was their before.It's actually pretty amazing how well this works for how easy it is to install.Took about 15 min to install on my Mercedes, only complaint is that this kit doesn't come with blue loctite. I really recommend putting some on the new screws.New screws are included, also make sure new gasket is properly seated in both devices and against the turbo. In my case the new gasket was brown shown in the photos.Last make sure the placement of the device is in the proper direction.The flat spot Turbosmart calls it.If you install the wrong way going to get a check engine light and possibly no boost.

Dish turbo, smart blow off valve is one of the best blow off valves. I’ve seen so far or do use of my vehicle. The vehicle work much better now with this blowup. Well Touro smart really has the remedy to your problem. Your truly Raymond

JUST AWESOME

Just installed a unit on my GLA250 2016, for the 3 screws to align perfectly, first position the unit with cable connector down left side position, then install the 3 original (or new) screws.Took a short drive and the shifting is smoother and better, should also be better for the life time of the turbo.Great product

This was a direct replacement for the factory diverter valve on a Ford Fusion Sport. There's no gain in performance, but the faster acting and more predicabble behavior allows for the turbocharger to work less and having to compensate for the pressure lost. There is a gain in driveability on the street.

Great easy to install

Despite what it says on Turbosmart's website this does not fit Volvo. Wrong connector. Vendor won't take back product with wrong application listed even though Tuebosmart said they would take it back.
