Tying the front was a little tricky but it definitely fits I ordered a medium it’s a little short so I will have to wear shorts under it. But definitely worth the buy!

This is a very cute costume and fit as expected after reading California Costume's size chart. I usually wear a medium in costumes but ordered a large and it is just right. I am 5'5", 145 lbs, medium "girls" and do not have a perfect figure. However, when you get the costume laced and adjusted it is quite flattering. Like other reviewers have said, the costume comes without the lacing done and it is definitely an exercise in patience! The ends of the lacing are cut and not finished so getting them through the little metals holes is tedious. Also, as other reviewers have said, you'll want to lace it up using every other hole as pictured, until you get to the open chest part where you will lace them into each hole. You'll also want to get this early so that you can do all the prep work ahead of time and not go crazy while getting ready for your event. The wings are pretty with real feathers but again, adjusting them to set properly took me some time. While some other reviewers opted to purchase larger, more dramatic wings, I am quite satisfied with these as I'll be dancing the night away. The halo is rather shaky and I found that to get it to set right, I had to bend the wires just below where the halo part is attached.... but, voila! it works. Patience is definitely called for when getting this ready to wear but I find it is worth it in the long run. It provides coverage where you need it so you can relax and just enjoy yourself and the compliments that are sure to come your way. I would have given it five stars except for the time needed to get it just right.

Excellent! The item is true to size and very comfortable--I am 5'0 and 160--i usually wear clothes in size 14 but 14 plus is too big. With everything as all the "sisters/gfs" know you have to try everything on because on sizes are true depending on the quality and actual fit. The quality ior this outfit is stretchy and roomy. Very comfortable. Quality is better than other "chintzy" type costumes. You do get what you pay for; I did buy,however,a larger pair of wings because although the costume dress is perfect I wanted a larger and better quality of the wings. The wing with theis consume pkge. Is small but nice enough. Again, I just wanted something more. Iit would be what you want. I am sur most women with be just fine with the wings included. I bought the wings through "Fashion Wings For You". Also, through amazon. These Wong are 3 x the size and the came with a little cat eyed foam type material,xtra wings,and a halo with wings. The costume came with a headband with a halo up in the air(as pictured). I am going to incorporate both halo pieces. I am also going to wear a wig. I bought a red hair one since my hair is horribly thin and short,so at Halloween love to wear great wigs--brunette,black,red head,and long a full headed blonde wigs. They are fun and sexy! So, the bottom line, I really love the costume and feel awesome in it! I definitely reccomend it. I cannot wait to dress up and go out with my hubby. He is going to dress as a Victorian vampire--reviewed under that costume.

I'm 5'5, 158lbs with A cups. I got a large because my clothes range between medium to xl, mediums fit snug, large is usually comfortable on me and i get XL for things that run small. I figured the middle ground was safe. It's not a huge issue since it has the corset in the front, BUT i have to tighten it a little too much and the fabric in the middle is crumpled and has to be folded and the WHOLE outfit looks very different when the middle part is so narrow.HEED MY WARNING! If you are unsure about the size, maybe just go with the smaller, best fit option. I'm currently ordering a Corset to try to recover.It is a great costume though! I'm ditching the wings and halo and going with horns and demon wings :)

I love it when a costume comes complete with everything (minus the boots of course)! I never had any trouble with the wings or the halo as some customers experienced.Here is my experience with the outfit:1) And first, the bad: the eyelets for the lace in the front are pretty small, so allow a little time to "lace up." Also, as some customers stated, the lace doesn't go in every eyelet. As you will see in the photo, it goes in every other one until you reach the open area on the chest.2) Sizing: I am a medium - all around - and it fit perfectly. No issues with the sizing.3) Material: The quality of the costume is great for the price. It definitely can be worn time and time again without any issues. And, that is including the wings - they are easily bendable. The halo, on the other hand, might have to be tweaked from time to time but that is minor. Nothing a headband and super glue can't fix.4) What they don't show you: I was a little concerned about the length of the costume especially in the back since the front looks pretty short. Good news! It is longer in the back so you don't have to worry about exposing something that shouldn't be exposed!!5) Smell: Some reviews stated that the costume smelled bad. Upon opening it, it smelled a little like rubber but give it a day to air out, or wash it gently or spray a little perfume on it and you are good to go!OVERALL, it's a great costume and I'm glad I purchased it!!!

The overall customer is amazing but it was missing a loop on the corset. It would not string up properly. 17 loops on left side 18 on the loops on the right side. When I tried to hide the loop the dress looked bunched up! It was very disappointing because it actually looked cute on me! I had to restring the corset and tie my bow at the bottom to hide the defect. Oh and it runs slightly too large. If you want a snug sexy fit then order a size down! I ordered size M. I’m 5ft 145lbs. Very stretchy!

After seeing a few versions of this outfit on here, I was tempted to order the cheaper ones but I decided to pay a bit extra for this one and im SUUUPER glad that I did! It fits perfectly, the front is adjustable and I bought a medium that would comfortably fit a sizes 8 to 10 maybe even a smaller 12, the dress doesn't cut in anywhere, it's really light and airy, short enough to be sexy but not too short as to sacrifice modesty. The wings are beautiful and better than expected too, very delicate though, and the halo feels a little flimsy but generally I'm super happy I paid the extra bit to get this costume as opposed to the cheaper ones. Also arrived suuuper quickly!

I bought this for my 11 year old daughter to go out to a school Halloween party, she was over the moon with it, although I found the top a bit too sheer so I put a black t-shirt on under it but it looked lovely. The wings were absolutely great quality and much better than I expected at the price, the halo was also great and she said that it was really comfortable on her head. I would definitely recommend buying this item although the sizes are a bit small so I bought a size medium which fitted her perfectly. The package came before it's estimated time and was well packed.

I ordered one size bigger to make sure it would fit...I was right. I received a lot of compliments.The halo is attached to a plastic headband; I used 4 bobby pins to make it hold.The wings are folded when you receive the costume. Unfold them carefully...there are black elastics that you slide your arms into...I lost a few feathers during the night, but then again I danced my night away.This is the first time I buy a California Costumes Halloween costume and I would buy from them again. The dress was well made compared to some other brands out there.

Love it! Delivery was fast, i went with the free delivery and it came in 2 days. Materials good, im a size 8 and got size 8-10 and fits perfectly. Theres wire in the wings so you can shape them and feathers are good quality, halo is on a wire too so can bend it to any position. You do need to lace it yourself, took about 5 mins but the hooks are quite small, i folded the end of the ribbon and twisted it to get it through the hooks, it was easy enough. Length is good, comes about mid-thigh at the front and dangles just below the knees at the back. Definitely worth the £41!
