can someone please post the ingredients? i'm not gonna put something on my face without knowing exactly what's in it.

It is fragrance and paraben free. Water, sodium laureth sulfate, acrylates copolymer, cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, glycerin, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, chamomile extract, Sodium PCA, Mannitol, Cellulose, hydroxyproply Mathylcellulose, Mica, Talc, . Looks like mainly plant extracts and a few minerals. It is so mild, gentle, softening, cleansing. I promise they have omitted Gluten, hydrochloric acid, the blood of infants, formaldehyde, and rat poison. LOL Hope that helps!

Shouldn't "Retinol" be one of the ingredients?

Retinyl palmitate is the third to the last ingredient, which means there is barely any Retinol in the product. They don't list a percentage so it would be safe to assume there is barely any in the product. BTW, Retinyl palmitate, an ester of retinol (vitamin A) and palmitic acid, with a formula of C36H60O2.

must this be rinsed off after applying?

Of course! You apply this cleanser on a wet face and then wash it all off with water. And follow with a moisturizer.
