I've just tried the first can and my dog seem to like it. The consistency and smell is very similar to what they used to sell as the Chicken & Brown Rice , but is no longer available....so maybe they just change the labels.., but so far so good.....!! Gary Miller

My dogs loved this food and it was recommended to me. Been feeding it for about a year and reordered it from Amazon and received the same brand but another flavor. Contacted them and they were very helpful but said what I wanted was not available. Contacted Newman's Own and after several emails was told " all of our dog food options (Wet & Dry) have been discontinued, however, we do still sell a variety of other delicious products like dog treats that we think you would enjoy. " So disappointed.

This food is excellent and consistent. Better ingredients than other RX foods that were not consistent. Our little 4lb toothless dog loves this food. Has eaten it for the last 5 years. Keeps him healthy and digests very well. The Chicken dinner is mostly all chicken. Other Newman’s Own have flaxseed and other grains our dog can’t have. So the Chicken Dinner is a Winner!

When the science diet dog food my 15 year old miniature poodle had eaten for 8 years stopped being made, we tried a bunch of other brands, including fresh delivery ones, but couldn’t find something she would eat. Finally we tried this one and she loved it..and still does several years later. After our supermarket stopped carrying it, we ordered it from this company. It arrived quickly and in good condition.

Product was NOT left on porch by front door. As delivery picture shows it was left on back steps of long deck in 86 degree full sun before I found it by accident later in day. The package was very hot to the touch as were the cans of food when I brought it inside. When opening a can later for my dogs meal, it had turned to liquid and is unusable.This needs to be credited to my account.

...not that awful dog food smell. It is a little more pricey than some other brands, but very worth it for the quality. It is also a nice consistency, even out of the fridge; I only mix about a teaspoon per meal in each dog's kibble to keep them interested in their own bowls (otherwise the overweight corgi will eat the younger's food), so it is very economical. We also don't suffer from "foul wind" that cheaper brands can produce.

My dogs have been eating this food for several years but in the least few months I’ve received several dented cans in the case and so far two cans in different cases I’ve had to toss out upon opening them. One can hissed upon opening so I figured I best throw it out and today the food smelled bad so I tossed it. And, my dogs aren’t too excited about eating sometimes. I think it’s the food. Why would both of them turn their noses up at the same meal if it wasn’t the food? Normally they eat like they’re hungry but when they don’t it makes me wonder, especially with the dented cans and bad experience with two recent obviously bad cans. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I did check for recalls but there were none that I could find.
