Rope Halter/Headcollar Horsemanship/Parelli Rawhide Braided Noseband Black

Very good quality rope halter BUT there is a tassel decoration of real horse hair on the headpiece. I was not happy as no idea where the horse hair had come from or been sourced. There was no mention of this in the description and it is not obvious either from the photos. So if you want a good quality rope halter with real horse hair embellishment then its good, or if you are like me and was not happy about it, then don't buy it. I have returned mine.

Bulkier than it looks, but nice and lightweight. Fits the large head of my FreisianX mare. The hide noseband could be rather abrasive or scratchy for horses with very sensitive skin or thin coats.Personally, I wouldn’t necessarily use this headcollar for pressure/release training because the noseband may be uncomfortably abrasive. But as a space-saving spare that fits into a saddle bag for a hike, it’s perfect.

Difficult to tie as the tassel gets in the way and the loop for the tassel to go through is tight. Not goodFor a young impatient horse, especially when removing in the field. Unfortunately won’t be using again.Apart from the quality is good would be much better without the tassel.

Quick delivery and good size - however as a horse lover I am mortified to open the package and find that what I thought was a tassel in the product photo actually turns out to be real horse tail hair!I really felt sad and don’t want to use itPlease change the item description to include this as it is very upsetting to receive if this is not something you would choose to have in your home

Fill size was tight on my cob and Irish sports horse

The noseband was back to front so u had to tie on the right and the knot at bottom had no loop to put a rope through.

Bought small pony rope halter and promptly returned it as it was too small for my filly. Cwell rudely refused a refund as they claimed never to have received it back.
